Histoires Francoises, first edition, errata on final leaf of text, title lacking small portion at inner margin just touching rule at foot, some leaves lightly browned, [Martin, Mylne & Frautschi 59.27], [Paris or Amsterdam], n.p., 1759 bound after Lettres d'un Citoyen de Geneve, first edition, title with woodcut ornament and short tear to fore-edge, [Martin, Mylne & Frautschi 63.7; Dufour p.107], Cologne, et se trouve à Paris, au Cabinet Litteraire...Magazin de Grangé & Dufour, 1763, together 2 works in 1 vol., contemporary calf-backed marbled boards, spine gilt with floral motifs and green roan label, a little rubbed, slight worming to lower joint, 8vo & 12mo⁂ The first item is rare and appears to be the only prose work by the mysterious Chevalier Yon, who may also have written a couple of plays. Library Hub records only 2 UK copies (BL and Oxford). The second mentioned is a novel in imitation of Rousseau's Nouvelle Héloise.
