The door is straight and not warped, the glass in the door is not bevelled around the edge and looks in good condition. There are two glass shelves with the piece which also appear in reasonable condition. The marble top has two small matchhead sized chips to the edge of the top of the right-hand side and these are not particularly visible. The colour of the metal mounts is good, the colour of the wood is good. The legs look OK, some minor scratching and scuffs commensurate with age. The vernis Martin panel exhibits some cracklure and is scratched to the right and a few small pieces of the lacquer are away. There is also some lacquer away to the side panels also. The back is panelled. Overall the cabinet in the Auctioneer's view this is a very nice item in good general condition.
