Gordon Russell, Foreman E. Turner, Cabinet Maker N. Allaway, 146cm wide x 56cm deep x 92cm high Provenance: Believed to have been especially for the vendor's grandfather, Holland W. Hobbiss, a Birmingham-based architect, who had used the Gordon Russell workshop for the interiors of several of his buildings. Hobbiss' work included King Edward's School, the University of Birmingham and he was, for many years, the architect of the diocese of Lichfield.
