A fine quality Edwardian marquetry and fiddleback mahogany serpentine front display cabinetthe broken arch gallery back over a deep frieze and pair of serpentine glass doors, each enclosing two adjustable glass shelves, the lower panelled sections enclosing two cupboards, raised on square tapered legs with spade feet, decorated throughout with floral, foliate and shell marquetry within satinwood banding, 49.75 x 16.25in. (126.5 x 41.25cm.), 75.25in. (191cm.) high.
A 19th century Antwerp style ebony and tortoiseshell veneered and ebonised cabinet on standthe plain top over two drawer frieze within carved wavy mouldings, over a pair of tortoiseshell panelled doors enclosing a fitted interior with two banks of five two-panel drawers flanking a central architectural panel with gilt brass mounts and reverse painted glass chinoiserie style plaques, removing to reveal a mirrored interior with gilt columns, ebony and ivory chequered floor and four drawers above and below, over two drawers to the apron beneath, on a stand with ring turned tapered legs and toupie feet, 40.5 x 18.25in.
