An early 19th century marble-topped Regency period brass-inlaid rosewood side cabinet; the frieze with central inlaid brass design of Anthemions flanked by key fret style brass stringing, the two doors with gilt-metal latticework-style trellis and opening to reveal shelves and within two large circular columns, headed by circular gilt-metal capitals, raised on shaped front feet loosely in the style of Thomas Hope (9cm wide x 46cm deep x 97.7cm high)Condition Report: The piece is chipped and damaged on the two front corners, there appears to be a repair on the LH front corner, also slightly damaged on the back corners. The inlay appears to be intact although quite dark on the LH side. The gilding to the columns look good, the condition of the latticework looks good. Some minor scuffing to the lower legs as expected, 2cm piece of veneer away from  the gadrooning above the RH leg. Condition generally commensurate with age. The marble has been repaired in several places including the front (may have been split in half and possibly repaired ? but a good job done if so) .

Slight damage on the third and fourth panels down (LHS), right at the back of the piece where the cabinet ‘meets’ the wall. Dimensions re-confirmed 92cm wide x 46cm deep x 189cm high.
