Messrs. Cookes of Warwick, the cabinet makers of this table also produced furniture for the Royal Family and were applauded for the spectacular Sideboard which they made and displayed at the Great Exhibition of 1851 at the Crystal Palace, which is now situated in Warwick Castle and known as the ''Kenilworth Buffet''.
