A 19th Century carved Italian cabinet modelled as Siena Cathedral, with clock to the top centre, the blue enamel dial signed Klaftenberger, 157 Regent Street, the front opening to reveal a fitted interior of drawers around a central mirror back alcove, on a possibly associated Gothic revival style cupboard enclosed by two panel doors, 153.5cm wide x 73cm deep x 301cm high Provenance: Hardwicke Court, Gloucester/see illustration Condition Report: Cabinet over all in very good condition although some carving damaged, noticeably Gothic pinnacles, surmount missing decoration to the triangle, angel wings repaired, the three carved disciple figures with chips to pedestals, missing one lower figure and right hand side figure headless. Animals to the pillar capitals missing limbs and horses' muzzles missing, the clock housed in zinc case, not working. The interior enclosing Gothic tracery windows and a mirror recess. The base with loose and missing parts to the cupboard plinth.

A Louis XVI revival kingwood, burr walnut & marquetry two door cabinet, third quarter 20th century, with rouge marble top, serpentine front with twin cross banded doors with central oval floral marquetry, flanked by canted corners with gilt brass mounts, raised on cabriole supports with gilt sabots, 41 x 18in. (104 x 45.8cm.), 39in. (99cm.) high.
A 19th century Antwerp style ebony and tortoiseshell veneered and ebonised cabinet on stand, the plain top over two drawer frieze within carved wavy mouldings, over a pair of tortoiseshell panelled doors enclosing a fitted interior with two banks of five two-panel drawers flanking a central architectural panel with gilt brass mounts and reverse painted glass chinoiserie style plaques, removing to reveal a mirrored interior with gilt columns, ebony and ivory chequered floor and four drawers above and below, over two drawers to the apron beneath, on a stand with ring turned tapered legs and toupie feet, 40½ x 18¼in. (103 x 46.25cm.), 54¾in. (139cm.) high.
