ROYAL WORCESTER; a pair of hand painted cabinet cups and saucers, signed 'Twin', each painted with violets and primroses, the two saucers with date code for 1919, one of the cups with a date code 1920, the other with a date code for 1921, diameter of saucers 9.5cm, together with two Mappin & Webb gilt silver coffee spoons (6).Additional InformationOne of the saucers with some wear to the gilding in the centre, a few light surface scratches and minor wear at edge, the other saucer with some crazing to the underside around the foot rim, a hairline crack running from the centre out, visible on the painted and non-painted side and two other fainter hairline cracks also, one of the cups is crazed on this inside and with some wear to the gilding on the exterior, light residue of glue to the surface of the gilt where a label once might have been, the other saucer also with some crazing on the inside, again general light wear to the gilt surface throughout on the exterior and also with similar glue residue where a label might once have been, the two spoons with general light rubbing and some tarnishing.
A fine late Victorian satinwood painted display cabinet with moulded cornice, serpentine side glazed doors, flat fronted central drawers above four well painted panelled doors raised on square section tapering legs to spade feet and the interior set with three shelves, with Waring and Gillow lto the reverse of the cabinet, height 203cm, width 150cm, depth 42cm.Provenance: From a private Worcestershire collection.Additional InformationA fine example, there is one tiny section of moulding missing to one of the upright columns, some crazing to the painted decoration and some very small sections of lifting, but the piece has been kept out of direct sunlight and has been well looked after.

Knocks to the protruding edge between the glazed door and the panelled door. Other light age wear here and there, but despite the faults, overall appearance is good.

The door has a sprung action which is still good and tight. A few knocks to the plinth base, but overall a good example.

An Edwardian inlaid rosewood music cabinet with raised back above a panelled door and inset with six bevelled glass panes, on tapered square legs, height 130cm, width 56cm, depth 37cm.Additional InformationThe raised mirror back is not secure and will need rescrewing from underside to make it secure. The left hand bracket of the raised back is chipped. All of the mirror plates with some spotting and wear, the central upper plate is pushed into the door a little so it gapes at the bottom. The central panel gapes where it meets the moulding to the right hand side. General scuffs and scratches throughout commensurate with age and use.
