Two Dresden cabinet cups and saucers, circa 1870, of quatrefoil section painted with two panels of estuary scenes on a purple or pink-scale ground, gilt scroll borders and a Meissen hot milk jug and cover similar with Watteau figures, 11cm high CONDITION REPORT: The cups and saucers are in good condition. The jug has been broken around the neck and bonded, some small associated losses. The handle is cracked at bottom terminal. Cover good.
A fine Regency black and gold lacquer cabinet with pierced surmount and decorative frieze of peacocks, terrapins and foliage, enclosed by a pair of similarly decorated glazed doors with pierced spandrels and spiral columns to the sides, the base with panels each decorated a Japanese actor and with decorative panels to the sides, on scrolling feet, 95cm wide CONDITION REPORT: This is Regency style, scroll surmount split and loose. Fretwork decoration to doors rubbed and missing small scrolls to left and right sides. Panels and door decoration faded. Interior decoration very fine. 176cm high and 46cm deep.
Robin Day (1923-2003)/A 'Hilleplan' unit B sideboard, designed circa 1953 for Hille, the walnut cased cabinet with two short drawers above two sliding cupboard doors in black and white vitrolite, raised on tapering wood feet, 138cm wide, 72.5cm high, 45cm deep CONDITION REPORT: Veneer cracks to left and right side of top. Some ring marks and stains. Minor dents and bruises throughout. Back left leg slightly bent. Overall condition good.
