A George III standing oak corner cabinet, bleached, with glazed upper half, canted angles and plinth base. Width 29.5 ins. CONDITION REPORT: The corner cupboard is structurally fairly solid. It is however generally a little tired. There are various dents, knocks and small losses to the cornice. The bottom left hand glass pane has a small crack which should be visible from our image. The canted angles on the top and base are both a little scuffed and marked. The moulding at the front of the top half is slightly loose. The bottom door is currently locked and we do not have a key. They are usually easy to open. It looks as if this piece has been stripped and limed. The overall effect is quite good but the estimate reflects the general nature of the piece.
A large Vienna porcelain cabinet vase cover and stand, highlighted with gilding and decorated with signed panels by R. Forster and C. Heer. Height 21.5 ins (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This lot is in generally very good condition. The lid is in good order with no damage, repairs or restoration. There is very minor rubbing to the gilding on the knop. The vase itself is in generally good condition. There is some rubbing to the top edge of the gilding and minor surface abrasions where the lid touches the top lip. Both handles are in generally good order with only minor rubbing to the gilding. There is no damage to the main body of the vase. The base does not have any restoration. There is however one chip to the bottom edge of one of the four gilt feet.
