A circa 1900 mahogany framed and glazed shop display cabinet, on square tapered legs to spade feet CONDITION REPORTS Height 183cm 60cm wide and 60cm deep approx. Numerous surface scratches to the glass. Scuffs, knocks and scratches to the wood in numerous areas. An area of loss to the wood at the inside top left of the door. Wear to the edge of the door. Also to the inside edge of the cabinet and the base of the cabinet where the door has rubbed. Some accretions on the wood, flecks of paint etc. The bottom left hand glass panel has a break which has been sellotaped back together. The piece has general wear and tear commensurate with age and use. See photos for more details.
An 19th Century mahogany breakfront bookcase cabinet, the upper section with four astragal glazed doors enclosing adjustable shelving over a central chest of two short over three long graduated drawers flanked by two cupboard doors on a plinth base CONDITION REPORTS Numerous surface scratches, scuffs and knocks to the wood. Areas of loss to the veneer mainly on the flanking cupboard doors. Some areas also to the glazed doors. Fading and discoloration to parts of the wood. Some splits to the veneer in areas. Areas of staining mainly on the shelves. Handles and escutcheons have been replaced on the drawers. Also possible that locks have been replaced. Wear and tear commensurate with age and use. A Edwardian mahogany and inlaid Sheraton Revival style cabinet with two glazed doors over a single draw on square tapered legs united by a X stretcher CONDITION REPORTS Surface scratches and scuffs to the wood. Fading and discoloration to the front top of the base and to the front and sides of the glazed top. Some old gouges to the wood to the top of the base. Scuffs and wear to the corners of the base and the glazed top also to the corners of the drawer. Areas of staining to the top of the base. Deep gouges to the wood on one of the shelves. Scuffs and knocks to the legs and feet. The right hand drawer support on the underside is loose at the back and has started to come away. Some small areas of loss to the veneer. General wear and tear commensurate with age and use. See photos for more details
