Research has revealed that Sir Thomas Isham, an early Grand Tourist, returned from Naples with a pair of similar cabinets which still reside at the family seat Lamport Hall in Northamptonshire. Other similar cabinets can be found at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, the Palazzo Barberini, Rome, the palace of Perelada, Gerona and in private collections in Mallorca.
