The cabinet decorated with multi coloured stars, and the back glass depicting a space scene with rocket man and space station. Appears complete, but is lacking the playfield glass. On chrome legs. Working condition unknown, and strictly sold as untested. A rare early pinball machine.

McIntosh Of Kirkcaldy - Dunvegan range - A 1960's retro vintage teak wood sideboard having the central twin door cupboard with shelved interior flanked by a drop down cocktail cabinet and at the other end a bank of three drawers, each drawer and door having lipped handles and all raised on tapering legs. The sideboard being complete with tags and a letter of correspondence from McIntosh after receiving a thank you letter and explaining care instructions. Matching table in the following lot. Measures 67 cm high, 202 cm wide and 46 cm deep.

Grotesque balloon shooting will again be a feature at today's Great Display at Hendon", pen and ink cartoon with some blue pencil shading, pencil caption beneath, with Hitler flying a military aircraft with machine gin firing at balloons of various German political parties, with a 'Nazi Spirit Filling Station' and 'Brown Shirt Factory' on the ground to the right, signed, 315 x 385 mm., 1933.⁂ Hendon Aerodrome was an aerodrome in London, England, and was an important centre for aviation from 1908 to 1968. In March 1933, the Enabling Act, an amendment to the Weimar Constitution, passed in the Reichstag and allowed Hitler and his cabinet to pass laws-even laws that violated the constitution-without the consent of the president or the Reichstag. Fine Flemish ebonised cabinet on stand, Antwerp 17th century, the rectangular hinged top enclosing a paper lined interior and painted panel to the reverse, above a pair of panelled doors with painted panels to the reverse, enclosing a fitted interior with raised ripple mouldings, comprising ten drawers with sperate interior linings around a central colonnaded cupboard door enclosing an architectural mirrored interior with eight further small square drawers and an ivory and ebony parquet floor, with pull-out to reveal three secret drawers, over a single long drawer and upon the later ebonised stand, the cabinet 36" wide, 33" high, 17.25", 57.5" high overall **The Cabinet is decorated with fourteen inset panels depicting Landscapes with Figures comprising, a Hunting scene with Figures on Horseback, Hounds nearby, 8.5" x 25.25"; two further Landscapes with Figures and a Dog beside a Lake, also Figures on Horseback on a Country lane with a Windmill in the distance, each 14" x 10", ten further smaller Landscapes, one with Figures on a Stone Bridge approaching Classical Ruins, each 4" x 9" and lastly another small oil on panel depicting three Figures beside a Rocky Waterfall, 5.5" x 7.5" **The style of the work is reminiscent of Joos de Momper, however there were Flemish and Dutch workshops in the 17th century who were producing works of this type for inclusion into such pieces of Furniture *** Provenance - from a private estate

A Napoleonic Straw-Work Cylinder Top Miniature Bureau. The bureau crafted by 'prisoner of war' during the French Revolution. The bureau benefits from intricate geometric coloured straw patterns and parquetry decoration. The fall-front reveals a fitted interior with compartments, a lift-up pen compartment and single drawer with bone handles and lock plate. (af) Provenance: This cabinet is accompanied by a short note which reads: This cabinet was made by a prisoner in the Temple Paris during the French Revolution. It was brought to England by my grandfather Thomas Kesteven of Treeton Yorkshire and West End House Hampstead - he was travelling in France when the Revolution began and was arrested as a spy. He was imprisoned in The Temple for six weeks. As a personal friend of the British Ambassador his release was obtained with some difficulty' signed Alice Kesteven.
