A good quality Edwardian mahogany and marquetry inlaid display cabinet on stand in the style of Edwards & Roberts, with broken swan pediment above glazed door enclosing shelved interior above two panelled doors and undertier, richly inlaid with satinwood panels of urns within foliate swags, raised on tapering supports, 214cm high x 79cm wide x 47cm deep CONDITION REPORT: Lot 536 - large chip to front left corner of wood below glazed panel, small areas of inlay lifting, scratches and abrasions, key present to top cabinet however cupboard doors are open but lock broken/stiff, doors don't appear to be warped, lock to glazed cabinet may be replacement, however broken lock looks to be original, white paint marks to back left leg, old worm holes, minor colour fading to one of on back
A large Art Deco light oak cupboard chest by Heals of London circa 1920/30's, with two small panelled doors flanked by a larger panelled door, both enclosing metal clothes rail above three drawers flanked with a small drawer, label to interior of top drawer, 168cm high x 150cm wide x 55cm deep (near matches lot 428) CONDITION REPORT: Lot 429 - doors and drawers open freely, handle slightly loose on 2nd large drawer, small areas that you can feel oak starting to lift off (but not large areas) to large and small door, various age staining and surface marks to cabinet, area of paint to right side of cabinet, minor cracks to doors also.
A large quantity of china tea and coffee sets, to include 48 piece Victorian Foley style tea set, Hammersley 34 piece tea set, Noritake 12 piece coffee set, Spode Italian lake scene tea and dinner wares, Paragon 'Stirling' pattern 31 piece tea set etc (150) CONDITION REPORT: Lot 140 - not looked into in depth as too large a quantity, however visually in cabinet Spode looks to be ok, Noritake one cup has been cracked, Foley appears ok, green coffee cups appear ok, Paragon appears OK, orange and white has cracks to a few pieces, Hammersley chip to side plate, however inspection in person is advised
