A late 19th Century walnut breakfront credenza having a central solid door cabinet flanked by twin glazed display cabinets. The whole detailed with foliate inlaid boxwood with strung line and ebony trim all raised to a plain bracket foot, suffers minor damages and wear, 69” wide by 40” high.

A mid 19th Century rosewood chiffonier having a raised mirror back with pierced gallery all above a fluted edge marble top, the whole set above a twin arched door cabinet with silk lined panels falling to a plain stepped pediment, 48” wide by 51” high.

The upper deep pediment decorated with a heavily carved acanthus scroll frieze with central lions head detail falling to a four door bookcase, the doors decorated with hand leaded lights with armorial inspired detail including port-cullis and central English roses. The whole raised to a cabinet base with three upper frieze drawers decorated with conforming deep relief-carved detail set above the four- door base with fielded geometric panels, 84” wide by 97” high by 18” deep. . Reference. It is believed that this piece originally formed part of the boardroom decorating scheme at the Birds Custard Factory, Digbeth.
