A commemorative porcelain cabinet plate by Rosenthal, decorated with a Zeppelin over the ocean, green backstamps to base 'Sammelteller Erinnerung Z.R.III', 22cm diameter The USS Los Angeles, designated ZR-3 was built in 1923-24 by the Zeppelin company in Friedrichshafen, Germany as war reparation to the United States. It was delivered to the US Navy in October 1924 and was used mainly for experimental work, particularly in the development of the American parasite fighter program, ZR-3 was decommissioned in 1932. A Chinese cherry wood table top display cabinet with various shelving and two pairs of carved cupboard doors over two drawers on a plinth base CONDITION REPORTS Approx 43 cm wide x 53.5 cm high x 17.5 cm deep. There is damage to the top right hand corner. The top two tier shelf is loose and uneven. There is a section of moulding missing to the middle section and a finial missing from the top of the cupboard at the top of the unit at the front. Some small splits to the pierced decoration. Otherwise general wear and tear to include surface scratches, etc. In need of a good clean as it is quite dusty. It would seem that there has been a repair to the right hand side top. A Victorian mahogany apothecary cabinet with three large glazed doors enclosing adjustable shelving on a base with mirrored back and three glazed doors enclosing further adjustable shelves raised on a plinth support CONDITION REPORTS Approx 187.5 cm wide x 267.5 cm high. Has general wear and tear. Comes into two pieces, the top glazed section and the bottom glazed and mirrored section. The pediment appears to be a replacement, the top and bottom match with the applied decoration to the glasswork, the handles, back boards etc - however, there appears to be something missing from the middle section or possibly is from two different areas of the fitting. The sides appear to have been attached to something else previously. The moulding to the top of the mirrored section is different to that of the shelf below - see images for example. There are missing areas of moulding to the edges - see images for examples of damage etc Some shelves appear to be replacements and have been re-painted in the interior. Has general wear and tear, surface scratches, wear to the varnish, dust, chipping etc all conducive with age and use. One handle is loose but present - see images for further details
