A 19th century mahogany estate cabinet, containing four rows of short drawers, some with fold-down fronts and cupboards below, on bracket feet122w x 60d x 126h cmCondition report: Overall looks to be complete but is scruffy and unrestored. Drawers are stiff to operate, no keys. Various damages and discolouration from use. Has not been used at The Hall in recent years, so is dirty.

A Pair of Victorian Mahogany and Ebony Strung Cabinets, mid 19th century, the later black granite breakfront tops above plain friezes, the brass grille doors with gathered silk enclosing an adjustable shelf, on a moulded platform base, 132cm by 43cm by 89cmBoth cabinets are in reasonable condition. Timber/colour is slightly flat. Both marble tops do have some minor scratches. Cabinet one - general scuffs around the edges, platform base and sides. Cabinet two - in worse condition with a section of moulding missing below the marble. End panel with fine splits. Right-hand panel with split which has been partly filled and polished. Both cabinets have keys and working locks.

Generally very good condition throughout. Some minor scuffs mainly around the moulding in the middle section. Later brasses but no previous handle marks. Bracket feet probably later. With key and working lock (see images).

A Pair of George III Carved Giltwood Girandoles, 3rd quarter 18th century, regilded and with later mirror plates and nozzles, the rockwork frame with C scrolls surmounted by a Ho-ho bird, 82cm by 50cm Provenance: Purchased from M Turpin For similar examples see Stevens (Christopher Claxton and Whittington (Stewart), 18th Century English Furniture, The Norman Adams Collection, pg.426 and Chippendale - The Gentleman and Cabinet-Maker`s Director,1762, pl CLXXVII described as Girendoles and illustrated with similar frames and scrolled branches Both girandoles have been completely re-gilded therefore are in good cosmetic condition. The only fault is that one of the birds is lacking gilding to the beak. Later mirror plates and sconces. See images for purchase receipt.
