An Andaman Islands amboyna and hardwood octagonal cabinet, circa 1925, with open shelves to two sides and panel doors to two sides, 64cm high, 62cm wide. Provenance: Reputedly given to the current owner's family by a Captain Wordingham of the British India Steam Navigation Company, skipper of a Company training ship, from the Andaman Islands where it had been manufactured by an inmate of the prison there, and thence by descent.
