Racer Slot Cars - A very rare limited edition 1:32 scale Fiat 642 RN Bartoletti Ferrari Racing Car Transporter. This hand made track ready resin model is number 45 of only 300 made. It still has the protective plastic film on its windows but it does have some flaws, several parts of the bright metal trim are coming unstuck and one of the upper ramps has also come adrift due to dried out glue, these parts are undamaged and just need some very careful application of glue. There is an upper rear body support bar which has been broken off but it is still with the model to be refitted. The overall condition is Very Good with imperfections and the box is Very Good box with light storage wear. The vehicle measures 33 cm in length. A scarce original WWII Second World War period RAF Royal Air Force Air Ministry issued Vickers K training Camera Gun. Based on a Vickers K machine gun, the body and component parts were remodelled to operate a camera. A separate switching unit for weather conditions was mounted to the side (included). Retains original Air Ministry plaque. With a bag of spares / pieces present. A rare piece of military equipment.

NO RESERVE Crimean War.- Cornwallis (Major Fiennes) Letters written from the Crimea, first edition, collected and edited by Mrs. Wykeham Martin, of Leeds Castle, errata leaf at end, original cloth, covers slightly marked, 8vo, Privately Printed, 1868.⁂ Rare 'memorial' volume to a survivor of the Charge of the Light Brigade who ironically died in 1867 as a result of a fall from his horse while hunting. Pages 20-25 comprise his letter to his mother, written 2 days after the fateful episode recorded by Tennyson (printed on a leaf at the end): "Dear Mama, I write you a line to allay any fears you may have about me, as you will see by the Times that the Light Cavalry Brigade were let into a sort of Chillianwallah trap and cut to pieces."
Naval.- [Oplysninger om Fremmede Krigsskibe], 2 vol. only (?of 4), printed tables with manuscript additions, numerous laid down photographs with autograph captions, original half calf, rubbed, extremities worn, oblong 8vo, [c.1910].⁂ A rare Danish record of the warships of foreign powers. The volume of photographs covers France, England and Russia while the text volume only relates to Russia.
Anatomy.- Moveable book.- Witkowski (Gustave-Joseph) Human Anatomy and Physiology, 11 parts, all but part 11 (Pregnancy at full term) with accompanying printed booklet, numerous chromolithographic illustrations arranged in a series of overlapping moveable flaps, some of which folding, the odd short tear or crease, but generally in a good state of preservation, occasional spotting or light staining, loose (with thin cord supports) in original cloth-backed (some later) printed boards, staining to varying degrees internally and externally, housed in original publisher's lockable box with printed label to inside, lower panel worn, rubbed, folio, Ballière, Tindall and Cox, 1878-1888.⁂ It is rare to find all eleven parts together with accompanying booklets (bar one) and the original box.
Livius (Titus) Ex XIIII T. Livii Decadibus, 4 parts in 1 vol. plus the fifth part Polybii Historiarum libri quinque, first folio Aldine edition, collation: A8 B6 a-m8 n10 *10 aa-mm8 nn6 **10 aaa-qqq8; A-I8, woodcut device on titles and divisional titles, some ink annotations, some soiling, occasional staining and ink splashes, occasional foxing, but generally clean and intact, later vellum, folio (294 x 200mm.), Venice, House of Aldus & Andrea Torresani, 1520-21.⁂ Very good copy of the impressive folio version of Aldine's Livy, complete with the fifth part and with good margins. This is a variant issue with last leaf qqq7 of part 3 correctly numbered 127 (cf. Adams L1324).Provenance: D. Giovanni Maria Arquati ex-Cappuccino alias F. Camillo da Busseto (book label); indecipherable ink inscription on A2 "Hic liber est..."; small ink stamp (partially smudged so indecipherable) to verso of A3.Literature: Adams L1324 and cf. Greece.- Goldsmith (Oliver) Historia tēs Hellados, 3 vol., 3 folding engraved maps, occasional spotting, lightly browned, contemporary half calf, richly gilt spines in compartments and with double olive morocco labels, corners worn, rubbed and scuffed, Vienna, 1806; and 2 vol. in 1 of Hermes o Logios for 1816 & 1817, 8vo (4)⁂ A rare edition of his history of Greece, with WorldCat recording only one set (Bayerische Staatsbibliothek), which calls for only two volumes.
Music.- Corelli (Arcangelo) Concerti Grossi, 7 vol., first edition, each engraved throughout with title and musical notation, first vol. with fine engraved frontispiece by Van der Gouwen after Trevisani, and dedication leaf dated Rome 3 December 1712, without the portrait of and epistle by Pope Clement XI, some marginal soiling and occasional light toning, contemporary sheep-backed boards, gilt-lettered morocco label to upper covers, worn, 4to, Amsterdam, Estienne Roger, [1714].⁂ Rare set of Corelli's celebrated and influential Baroque work, which greatly influenced Handel and Vivaldi inter alia.
Greek printing.- Kredo (Venediktos) Grammatikē Hellēnikorōmaikē : periechousa tous kanonas tēs grammatikēs kai tēs orthographias toson tēs Hellenikēs, title with woodcut Jesuit device, woodcut decorative initials, final f. blank, short tear to lower blank margin of title, occasional spotting, contemporary half calf, spine gilt, rubbed, Verona, Karattonou, 1732; and 2 others, Greek Classics, 8vo (3)⁂ Rare, with WorldCat recording only three copies (all USA). They call ?erroneously for 279pp. We have 277pp., with penultimate verso blank and a final blank leaf (sig. S comprised of 4 ff.).
Rare WW1 German Hesse M-15 Other Ranks Belt Buckle, scarce example of the all steel pattern belt buckle with Hesse crown to the centre. Complete with the fitting to the reverse. Much of the original field grey paint remains to the reverse, obverse with a light surface rust. One of the harder to find Imperial belt buckles.
Rare Third Reich Full Parade Senior Forestry Official from Baden / Hesse Brocade Belt and Buckle, fine example with all the gilt wash finish remaining to the buckle, in the form of a winged NSDAP style eagle with swastika within a wreath of oakleaves. German army style officers brocade belt with press stud poppers being marked “PRYM”. Complete with the gilt keeper. A very rare example worn only by the officials from the Principality of Baden and state of Hesse before the introduction of the standard forestry officials parade belt. Short lived example believed to be worn only between 1937 and 1938.
Rare Small Type NSDAP Party Badge by Steinhauer & Luck, scarce example of the ¾ size party badge in enamel with the reverse being marked with the Steinhauer & Luck company trademark, Ges Gesch and RZM logo with number 63 next to it. Complete with the original pin fitting. Very scarce to find.
Rare Third Reich Hitler Youth 1937 Reichskampf Munchen Participation Badge, fine gilded tomback badge produced by F Hoffstatter Bohn. Badge depicts the Feldherrnhalle building with eagle holding enamel HJ diamond within cogwheel above, date 1937 and REICHS KAMPF MUNCHEN “HAUPTSTADT DER BEWEGUNG”. Pin fitting to the reverse of the award. Generally good condition.
Rare WW2 German Hitler Youth (H.J) Unit Pennant, fine large double sided multipiece construction triangular pennant / flag with Hitler Youth diamond. Chainstitched to the corner is unit numbers “18 218”. Edge with two of the three clip fittings. Remains in good condition overall. Measures 91 x 54cms.
Rare WW2 German Police Officers Arm Eagle for the Panzer Wrap Over Tunic, silver bullion wire embroidered Police officers eagle on black wool backing. Worn by the Police Panzer units, other ranks examples are green on black cloth. This item was brought back to the USA from Germany in 1945 by a American GI from Pennsylvania and has laid undisturbed until his trunk of souvenirs were found after his death.

Dinky No. 100 Lady Penelope's Fab 1. Notable example is fluorescent pink with figures however missing missiles. Significance drawn to the authentic signature of the voice of Lady Penlope, Sylvia Anderson who has signed the box as shown. Provenance is supplied in the form of a photograph of Sylvia signing the item shown with a date and location stamp. The toy is supplied in late issue tall plinth and bubble packing. Generally excellent, the off chip and mark in very good to excellent box, the odd expected split to bubble etc. Rare.
