1988 Mercedes-Benz 560 SL Transmission: automaticMileage:44428The 560 SL convertible was the latest in Mercedes-Benz's long and much loved line of luxury sports cars. Launched in 1983 it could trace its lineage back to the 230 SL of 1963. The 560 SL was powered by a 5.5 litre, overhead camshaft V8 engine producing 227bhp, an output good enough for a top speed of 220kmh with 100kmh reachable in around eight seconds. There were improvements to the running gear in the form of anti-dive, anti-squat rear suspension, a limited slip differential and revised steering geometry. The 560 SL has a high level of standard equipment, included leather upholstery, anti-lock braking, an anti-theft alarm system, stereo radio/cassette, leather trimmed steering wheel, gear lever and an improved climate control system. This good example of this sought-after model is presented in original European specification (not the US specification with ugly bumpers!) and was delivered new to Japan in 1988. It is presented in silver with black interior, factory hardtop and a black hood which we believe has never been used. This luxurious sports car also comes with its original Becker stereo, original books and service history, and was previously dry stored for 20 years and only recommissioned by the present owner recently. It has heated front seats, cruise control and climate control. These are rare cars and with low mileage, this represents a fine addition to any classic car stable.

Lot 187

2005 Dodge Ram SRT-10 Viper Transmission: manualMileage:72000This limited-edition sport pick-up was produced by Chrysler's Performance Vehicle Operations Division and used extensive wind tunnel testing. The outrageous power comes from the 8.3 litre, V10 found in the third generation Dodge Viper and can propel this quad-cab example to nearly 150mph. The SRT-10 also had a unique hood that featured a wide power bulge and honeycomb grille scoop which allowed cool air to enter as well as forcing hot air to exit from the engine bay, thus helping the engine to run cooler. A body-colour aluminium tonneau cover with an aerodynamic spoiler came standard on the quad-cab alongside four-speed automatic transmission and the 22" polished aluminium wheels fitted with Pirelli Scorpion P305/40R-22 performance tyres modelled after the 10-spoke wheels available on the infamous Viper.Imported directly into the UK in 2005 from the Kissimmee factory in the US, the servicing has been sporadic however we do have confirmation of a full service in 2010 and again in 2013. Indeed in 2011, all the wheels were removed, brakes inspected and new front pads fitted. Accompanying this extremely well-presented example is the owners pack complete with instruction manual and service book as well as two sets of keys. This rare and powerful pick-up will arrive in gleaming condition and an MoT test certificate valid until October this year.

1973 BMW 2002 Baur Convertible Transmission: manualMileage:78805The BMW 2002 series is important in the history of BMW for several reasons; not least of which being that it brought the company out of near bankruptcy in the 1960s and put BMW on the map in the United States. It was the ancestral grandfather to the BMW 3 Series and was produced from 1968 to 1976. German BMW importer Max Hoffman is credited with the car's creation. He had suggested to BMW's engineering director that a 2.0 litre engine should be installed into the small two-door 1602 to improve performance and emissions. The resulting 2002 (named after the new motor's displacement) was popular in its first year on sale. This BMW 2002 is one of only 354 examples manufactured in right hand drive format. Conversions on these outstanding vehicles were carried out by coachbuilder Karosserie Baur in Stuttgart. Baur retained a 'T' bar in the roof design helping to dramatically reduce any scuttle shake. This stunning 2002 convertible by Baur is presented in deep Atlantic Blue with contrasting houndstooth trim and presented in excellent order. Restored in the mid-90s by specialists Jaymic with modifications including five-speed BMW 5 series gearbox, electric power steering, Weber twin-choke 34-36 carburettor conversion complete with correct electric fuel pump, a Schrick cam, engine re-build in 2016 with electronic ignition and stainless steel exhaust system, re-built centre console with new dials and a modern sound system including Apple Play and bluetooth phone system. The bodywork has been restored and repainted, a new Targa top fitted and upholstery renovated with new 'original' houndstooth check cloth and blue vinyl imported from Germany. Sitting on original steel wheels and hubcaps with a fabulous Mountney steering wheel, the car is accompanied by a history file including photo records of the restoration works, a large file of invoices going back to 1991 and MoT records back to 1984 which suggests that the mileage is correct. The vendor informs us that during the summer of 2021 the odometer stopped working, although the speedometer is working correctly and few miles have been covered since, but this would benefit from replacing or repairing. A rare and desirable 2002 for which viewing is highly recommended.

1996 Bentley Continental R built to Continental S Specification Transmission: automaticMileage:47400Since 1921, the Bentley name has been synonymous with prestige, performance, and luxury. The 'Continental' designation recalls the 1939 Bentley Continental. The 'R' resonates to the R-Type Continentals from the 1950s as well as the Turbo R of the 1980s. Bentley's resurgence in the 1980s relied exclusively on models shared with other Rolls-Royce cars; however, the Bentley Continental R was unique to the Bentley marque. Needless to say, the performance was outstanding with the combination of the Turbo R engine in the new wind-cheating shape. Produced only for 1995 model year, the Bentley Continental S was offered alongside the Continental R and was only available to established Bentley customers. Fitted with the same V8, 6.75 litre engine as the Continental R but it was also fitted with a Garrett turbocharger, liquid-cooler and revised induction system, which brought performance to an incredible 385bhp at 4100rpm. Performance was slightly improved over the Continental R, reaching 100 km/h from a standstill was achievable in 6.3 seconds, leading to an electronically limited top speed of 155mph. Just thirty-nine examples were built. After 1995 Bentley accepted special orders based on the Continental R but to full Continental S specification, and in some cases using the all the mechanicals as used in the first Continental T which reduced reaching 100km/h from a standstill to 6.0 seconds. This 1996 Bentley Continental is one of the special-order cars built to full Continental S specification for a Bentley client based in Hong Kong. It was probably the most expensive Bentley sold in 1996 with a bill for the car delivered to the Colony at a staggering £500,000. This Continental S has a large history file with extensive Bentley Hong Kong records, which show it having only three owners and only covering 47,400km (29,500 miles) from new. Imported by the current owner in 2017 when he retired and returned to live in Scotland. Finished in the classic Bentley colour Racing Green with Beige piped Spruce leather interior complemented with Spruce Green centre console and top roll, and Conifer carpets. Ordered with the lightest burr walnut veneer available at the time of the build. This very rare Continental is supplied with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate which expires in April 2023, the original handbooks and service book, spare keys and a file containing invoices from Bentley Hong Kong and sales brochures. This is one of the rarest Bentleys built not only with the attention to ultimate luxury and refinement but with an emphasis on power and grace.Interested parties should note that the odometer on the speedometer is not working so Historics cannot guarantee the mileage of 47,400 Kilometers.

Lot 279

1929 Morris Oxford Flatnose Doctors Coupé Transmission: manualMileage:This is one of two rare 1929 Morris Oxford Flatnose Doctors Coupé's which were, in the 1990's, part of a pre-war Morris collection owned by Donald Ridgley, who is believed to have carried out cosmetic restoration to both cars before they were sold to two different people. This is the second of the rare Morris Oxford Doctors Coupé with Dickie seat on offer. This car was purchased by the vendors husband in 2008 after being restored in the 1970s. Further work was then carried out by Donald Ridgley when in his ownership, and then the car had the engine rebuilt in 2002 after he had sold it. This rebuild included replacing the cylinder liners and fitting new pistons, regrinding the crankshaft, suppling second-hand con-rods, fitting new big end bearings and main bearings. This car was laid up due to ill health in 2011 after the owner had been a regular at Morris Car Club meetings. While not being used his son kept it well maintained and from 2018 took the car to Kop Hill climb a couple of times and the Henley Traditional Boat Rally which includes classic cars. To make sure that the car is running the best that it can it has recently had a new head gasket, the carburettor overhauled and the Dynostart fully reconditioned. Finished in red with black roof and black wings, and with a maroon interior, the car is supplied with a V5 registration document, a number of old logbooks going back to 1965, some invoices and a service manual. This is a car the buyer could use and slowly carry out a cosmetic restoration to the body in his own time.

Lot 263

1991 Cadillac Brougham Transmission: manualMileage:92019The Cadillac Brougham was a line of full-size luxury cars manufactured by the Cadillac Motor Car Division of General Motors from 1987 to 1992 and was previously sold from 1977 to 1986 as the Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. The optional 'd'Elegance' trim package that was introduced during the Fleetwood era remained available. The model received a facelift in 1990 and was replaced by an all-new Cadillac Fleetwood in 1993.The Brougham owes its name to British statesman, Henry Brougham. Cadillac first used the name in 1916 to designate an enclosed five-seven passenger saloon bodystyle. This Cadillac Brougham is a rare coachbuilt convertible version of this well-known four door saloon presenting well in gleaming white paintwork which is complemented by a red leather interior, it certainly turns heads. Manufactured in 1991 this classic and unusual American convertible was imported into the UK in October 2016. Offered to auction with V5C registration document and an MoT test certificate valid until 21st February 2023, this handsome car is ready to enjoy the summer with a new owner.

Lot 276

1958 BMW Isetta 'Pick-up' Transmission: manualMileage:21074The Isetta is an Italian-designed microcar built under licence in several different countries including Germany and the United Kingdom. Produced in the post war years, at a time when cheap, short distance transportation was most needed, it became one of the most successful and influential city cars ever created. Because of its egg shape and bubble-like windows, it became known as a 'bubble car'; a name then later given to other similar vehicles. The Isetta was, in 1955, the world's first mass-produced car and was the top-selling single-cylinder car in the world with a total of 161,728 units sold. This Isetta pick-up was built under licence from BMW at Portslade nr. Brighton in 1957. It was Isetta's idea of capturing some of the commercial market but very few were ever built. Some sources suggesting as few as 26 were made. This four-wheel Isetta has what the sales brochure describes as ample carriage space with 165lb in the container and 187lb alongside the driver in lieu of a passenger seat. In 2015, following many years of hibernation, with photographs to show what a sorry state it was in, this Isetta benefitted from a no expense, nut and bolt restoration. The 300cc single cylinder, four stroke BMW engine and four speed gearbox were both overhauled by Isetta experts, whilst the bodywork and electrics also received expert attention. Following the restoration 'Bubbles' as the car is affectionately known was displayed at the NEC car show and national micro cars rallies in Cumbria, Bath and Somerset winning top prizes at all these prestigious events. 2017 saw 'Bubbles' win the trophy for best restoration of the year at the NEC classic car show. This stunning and extremely rare example is sure to attract plenty of attention given both its condition and realistic estimate.

Lot 198

1968 Fiat Dino Spider Transmission: manualMileage:67678The Fiat Dino was introduced at the Turin Motor Show in 1966 alongside the Dino Berlinetta GT, later to become the Ferrari Dino 246. Powered by a shared four camshaft, two litre, V6 engine, both cars benefited from a racing pedigree that went back to Ferrari's Dino 166P sports-racing unit and their 246 Grand Prix engine. The Dino model was built as either a Bertone designed coupé or a sleek Spider from Pininfarina. However, it is the Spiders, both in 2.0 and 2.4 Litre guise, that have become most sought after amongst collectors. In the words of Sports Car Market: "Å“The Spider is one of the prettiest designs to emerge from Pininfarina's studio in the 1960s"¦. and even accelerating in top gear from low revs, there's a seamless delivery of power. The name Dino came about as Enzo Ferrari was on a mission to have the 2.0 litre V6 (Ferrari Dino) engine homologated to run in Formula F2. A small boutique manufacturer like Ferrari were unable to produce the required units, an agreement was publicly made that Fiat would produce the 500 necessary engines needed to meet the FIA homologation standards. These were to be installed in a GT car later designated the Fiat Dino, named after the Ferrari Dino it shared running gear with. This left hand drive Fiat Dino is presented in barn find condition and is finished in red coachwork over a black interior. Laid up in 1977 the Dino has been stored ever since and comes to the market as a total restoration project. The 2 litre V6 Dino engine turns and there are many original parts present ready for restoration, including the desirable and very rare factory hardtop. Offered with a purchase receipt to its most recent vendor, dated 14th June 1976, and its current buff UK registration document. Dino specialists 24 Hundred of Kent believe that the Fiat has never been welded before making it a good starting point for any restorer. Coming to auction at no reserve this Fiat Dino Spider will be a fantastic opportunity for the new custodian, and we are sure will be a worthwhile investment.

1979 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II Transmission: paddleMileage:29836When the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow was released to the public in October 1965, the development departments were showing the result of work carried out over a period of some ten years. The new models were technically striking in three ways. A monocoque chassis was used; all wheels were sprung independently and four-wheel disc brakes now ensured stopping power of the sort that had come to be expected in a modern car. Under the bonnet, the V8 engine that had been introduced in the Silver Cloud series was employed. In February 1977, the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II was introduced. The most notable changes mechanically were to the rack and pinion steering and modifications to the front suspension which improved handling markedly. This extremely low mileage example is presented in the desirable period colour combination of Chestnut with a tan Connolly leather interior. Described by its enthusiast vendor as being in excellent all-round condition and a luxurious joy to drive and that even the original radio cassette player works. This Rolls-Royce exudes class and, we are informed, has benefitted from a good service history, and retains the original manuals and toolkit. Presented to auction with a V5C registration document and a fresh MoT test certificate this quintessentially British car offers a rare opportunity to own one of the lowest mileage examples on the market today.

Lot 130

1990 Bentley Eight Transmission: manualMileage:21747After being purchased by Rolls-Royce in 1931, Bentley production was moved from London to Derby and later to Crewe. Following on from the hugely successful series of T-series models, the next generation of cars also proved extremely capable. The Bentley Eight offered slight handling improvements and was so popular that sales expanded from the original UK market to Europe and the United States. Fuel injection and anti-lock brakes were added in 1986 with leather upholstery and power memory seats becoming standard in 1987.This lovely left hand drive example from Japan, is presented in metallic grey with the rare Claret leather interior which looks superb. The car has had one previous owner and comes with all original books and manuals including in English, and also has mileage guarantee certificate. Its luxurious interior is fitted with climate control, cruise control, electric windows as standard and the car presents extremely well.

Lot 197

1973 Aston Martin Vantage Transmission: manualMileage:96842The arrival of the DBS signified a real revolution at Aston Martin in the late 1960s. British stylist William Towns, a then junior Aston Martin interior designer, penned a thoroughly modern GT design that has been celebrated ever since as one of the most elegant yet muscular shapes to emerge from the golden age of Sports GT motoring. The single-headlamp version of William Towns design was launched in 1972 and named 'Vantage' and retained the well proven, six-cylinder 3995cc Tadek Marek engine. With only 70 examples built, it is now one of the rarest post-war Aston Martin models and the purest of the 'single-headlamp' Towns design that was to pilot Aston Martin through to the end of the 1980s.This truly stunning example of the rare Aston Martin Vantage is presented in its original colour blue coachwork with contrasting blood red leather trim, all in lovely order. First registered on the 27th April 1973, this matching numbers example boasts the rare and desirable five-speed manual gearbox. Owned in the extended family since 1997, this car has had significant investment in a full nut and bolt restoration. The engine block initially benefited from Aston Martin works treatment before the rest of the car was completely deconstructed and then painstakingly restored and reassembled to create a truly wonderful and collectable example that would have cost far in excess of our estimates to complete. Part of a small family collection, our owner professes to not have the time to use the car enough, although he has always kept it in impeccable order. Having only covered four thousand miles since restoration, it would now be deserving of a new home at a fraction of the restoration costs. When you consider the scarcity of the early Vantage's, the excellent condition of this car, the specialist engineering work invested and the even rarer (and highly desirable) specification of this particular car, then this certainly is a collector's item of some stature and deserving of close

Lot 245

1998 Bentley Continental T Transmission: automaticMileage:45100The Bentley Continental R was launched at the Geneva motor show in 1991 and the styling of the handsome new coupé harked back to elegant lines of the S -Series Continental coupés produced by Bentley Motors throughout the 50s and 60s. The turbocharged 6.75 litre, V8 engine was utilised and internally the car was similar to the Turbo R saloon. Introduced in 1989, the Bentley Continental T brought sportier handling and higher power to the Continental range. It has a four inch shorter wheelbase than a Continental R, has flared wheel arches accommodating the 18 five spoke alloy wheels and a more powerful 420bhp, V8 power unit. To be expected, performance was very impressive with the big Bentley reaching 60mph in under six seconds and a top speed of almost 170mph.This superb example of this rare and desirable model is presented in gleaming Red Pearl with Parchment leather interior. Its walnut wood door cappings and dashboard are in superb condition as are the carpets and headlining. It comes with air conditioning, electric front seats and a very good service history with servicing having been carried out at regular intervals from 1999 onwards. This is probably the finest example of this model we have had the pleasure to put to auction and this is certainly one of the best on the market presently.Registration has been added S557 VPV

Lot 231

1963 Ford Consul Capri Transmission: manualMileage:6624The Ford Consul Capri was launched in 1961 and was the first European market Ford to bear the Capri name. The Ford Consul Capri is a two-door coupé version of the Consul Classic and was available from 1961 until 1964. In February 1963, the GT version was announced. The sleek lines of this rare Consul Capri perfectly showcase its dark green paintwork. Complemented by a two-tone interior this Ford has a design that still looks fresh today but must have been way ahead of its time for 1963. We are informed that these stunning looks are matched by the cars fun factor when driven. This Consul Capri is now fitted with a 2.0 litre Pinto engine and a five-speed gearbox, offering brisk performance with retro aesthetics, which are further enhanced by Mini-Lite style wheels. Offered to auction with a V5C registration certificate this Capri is sensibly estimated given the huge popularity that all Ford models have enjoyed in recent years.

Lot 249

1968 Mercedes-Benz 280 SL Pagoda Transmission: manualMileage:84343The Mercedes-Benz 280 SL was introduced in December 1967 and continued in production until February 1971. An all new design by Paul Bracq to replace the 190 SL and 300 SL Roaster. The 280 SL had a powerful 2.8 litre version of Mercedes inline-six and used Bosch fuel injection. To save on weight the bonnet, boot lid and tonneau cover were all composed of aluminium. The nickname 'Pagoda' was quickly adopted thanks to the slightly concave roof on the optional removable hardtop that resembled a pagoda roof. The comparatively short and wide chassis, combined with an excellent suspension, powerful disc brakes and radial tyres gave the W113 superb handling for its time. These roadsters also have one of the most beautiful bodies produced in the 1960s. Thanks to their robust inline-six and their luxurious Mercedes interior, they are wonderful cars to be driven and enjoyed. The styling of the front paid homage to the legendary 300 SL with its characteristic upright Bosch 'fishbowl' headlights and simple chrome grille, dominated by the large three-pointed star in the nose panel. This stunning black with contrasting beige trim example of the larger engine SL Pagoda was purchased and imported from Germany in 2015 arriving with a waft of paperwork dating back to 1993 predominantly from Keenan Mercedes-Benz dealership. Upon arrival our vendor sent the car directly to leading classic Mercedes-Benz specialists Roger Edwards who immediately performed an MoT and fitted seatbelts, and then annually since has performed any necessary maintenance and renovations including new woodwork. More recently a new hood has been fitted. A stunning left hand drive manual example in rare black coachwork this would be an ideal car to tour Europe or leave at your abode in the south of France.

Lot 211

1972 Porsche 911T Transmission: manualMileage:49000The original 911 series is often cited as the most successful competition car ever, especially when its variations are included; namely the powerful 911 derived 935 which won Le Mans as well as other major sports cars races. The original Porsche 911 with its famous and distinctive design was mechanically notable for being rear-engined and air-cooled. Production would run from autumn 1963 until 1989. The 1972 911 series model had the unusual and rare oil filler behind the right side door, with the dry sump oil tank relocated from behind the right rear wheel to the front in an attempt to move the centre of gravity slightly forward for better handling. An extra oil filler flap was located on the rear wing and for this reason it became known as an 'Oil Klapper'.This truly unique and stunning 1972 911T, originally completed on the 1st July 1972, and sold by Porsche Cars, Great Britain in Reading is presented in gleaming silver metallic coachwork with the correct blue Madras chequered trim. A rare 72' external oil filler example, this car has been owned by a fanatical collector who, with originality the key, had this fastidiously restored by one of the very few official Porsche Classic Partners in the UK, exclusively appointed by Porsche Cars Great Britain - Porsche Swindon at an extraordinary cost. Invoices from Porsche alone total over £150,000. This car was originally supplied with optional sports seats, rear wiper and sliding sunroof, and as found on the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity is a matching numbers UK market example. When restoring, the owner also gathered many period articles about the 911T which accompanies all of the original sales literature that would have been supplied with the car from new. The engine bay is as impressive as the exterior of the car with all the correct stickers in place, sitting on the correct Fuchs wheels and with excellent shut lines as you would expect. Included with the sale is period registration UCL 5K which is on retention and would be a nice addition to add on classic plates. Timeless engineering and a particular fanatical eye for details makes this one of the best period 911's we have seen. All original and restored by the manufacturer, collectors' examples do not come any better, and with the more relaxed T engine, this is a car ready to be enjoyed and a sure fire investment with someone else having spent the huge outlay on creating 911 perfection.Interested parties should note that this Lot is registered LPL 575W however the vendor is supplying registration UCL 5K which is on retention and can be applied after the sale.

Lot 244

2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Edition Transmission: automaticMileage:31535The Mercedes-Benz W204 is the third generation of the C-Class and was styled by Karlheinz Bauer and Peter Pfeiffer. AMG launched the C63 Black Series in 2012 and what an astonishing car it was, even ten years on the performance is blistering. The AMG engineers adopted a new strategy for the C63; instead of bolting on a series of goodies to make it faster as they had in the past, they redesigned the C-Class from the ground up as a dedicated performance car. It gained revised front suspension, a four-stage, seven-speed automatic gearbox, and the M156 engine. The C63 gained more power in 2011, producing 480bhp and came with composite brake discs, red or yellow brake calipers, and a carbon fibre boot spoiler. As if this was not enough AMG then wheeled out the C63 AMG Black Series. With a wider front and rear track, coil over shock absorber suspension with adjustable dampers, carbon-ceramic brakes, an AMG limited-slip differential, and a 50% bigger radiator. Now producing and impressive 510bhp and a sub-four seconds 0-60mph, the top speed was restricted to 186mph. With a rev limit of 7,200rpm this V8 engine offers astonishing performance in any gear.Originally registered on 1st September 2012, this C63 is unmarked and finished in Diamond White with black leather and Alcantara interior. The coachwork has been covered in matt PPF (paint protection film) offering both a great sporty look as well as protection for the paintwork. The black carbon fibre looks even more impressive against the white coachwork. The cockpit area of this Mercedes is very impressive with everything easily at hand, the ergonomics really are something special in this C63. The sports seats offer great comfort and firing up the V8 engine instantly puts a smile on your face. Suddenly you become aware of how much power is available under your right foot. Slip the gearbox into drive and this car becomes something of a chameleon, it will behave perfectly in slow traffic and becomes a 'supercar' on the open road with seemingly endless power available. Supplied with a V5C registration document, a full year's MoT test certificate and a service history. With just 66 right hand drive Black Edition coupés available, this example, with its full aero dynamic pack is certainly rare. Offered in fabulous condition throughout this magnificent example is not to be missed.

Lot 262

1998 Evante Convertible Series I Transmission: manualMileage:33644Renowned worldwide for its successful racing engines, the Spalding-based firm of Vegantune diversified into car making in the early 1980s with the Lotus Elan-inspired Evante, a separate company - Evante Cars Ltd - being set up to handle its manufacture. Although Elan-like in appearance, the glassfibre-bodied Evante employed a stronger, tubular-steel spaceframe chassis rather than the Lotus's backbone type and was powered by Vegantune's own Ford-based VTA twin-cam engine. Producing 170bhp and 140lb/ft of torque from its 1.7 litres, this engine, with its belt-driven camshafts and accessible water pump, was reckoned much easier to maintain than the Lotus version. Only produced to individual customer order, the Evante failed to weather the late 1980s recession. After only a limited number had been made, the operation was sold to a consortium of Spalding businessmen, who continued production of the Evante 140TC. In the autumn of 1992, Evante was sold to another specialist vehicle manufacturer - Newark-based Fleur De Lys Automobile Manufacturing Limited - which re-engineered the chassis to accept the 1.8 litre Ford Zetec 16 valve engine. This rare example of this British sports car is presented in Metallic Blue with blue leather interior, with an attractive Walnut dashboard. It was sent back to Vegantune main agent at 20,000 miles and was fully upgraded to Series II Sprint specification. This included new upgraded bearings and pistons, reworked big valve head and camshafts, twin 45mm twin choke carburettors, new stainless steel exhaust and upgraded Spax adjustable coil over shock absorbers. The car also benefits from a new hood and comes with its tonneau covers which are in good condition. There are two history folders accompanying the car with specification sheets, old MoTs and receipts for work carried out. The current vendor has fastidiously maintained this great little sportscar and she now has brand new carpets, an engine that runs very well and brakes that work efficiently. Powered by the lively and great sounding 1700cc Twin Cam engine which provides exciting performance with great handling to match. Marketed originally as the 'Lotus eater' it is easy to see why.

Lot 280

1974 Triumph GT6 Mk. III Transmission: manualMileage:105400A fastback Spitfire powered by the 2000 saloon's two litre, six-cylinder engine, the GT6 arrived in October 1966 with production running until 1973. Like the Spitfire, it inherited what was essentially the Triumph Herald's chassis and running gear which had already proved capable of handling six-cylinder power when developed for the Vitesse saloon. A comfortable ride was considered vital for the all-important North American market so the GT6 inherited the Herald/Spitfire's softly sprung rear swing axle, although the latter arrangement would be superseded by lower wishbones on the GT6 Mk. II. At the same time the engine received a power boost courtesy of the TR5 cylinder head and 'hotter' camshaft, maximum output increasing from 95 to 104bhp. The restyled, last-of-the-line, Mk. III adopted the contemporary Spitfire's simpler 'swing-spring' rear suspension. Brisk performance (100mph+) and stylish, the GT6 well deserved its 'mini E-Type' sobriquet and today, is one of the most sought after post-war Triumph sports cars with only 13,042 Mk. III examples manufactured.Acquired by the current vendor in 2018, this GT6 has undergone an extensive bodyshell restoration completed in September 2021 and is now in excellent condition. The doors, bonnet and boot lid gaps are very good, with new windscreen and rear window rubbers. The front suspension has been stripped, powder coated and re-bushed and the tan interior is in good condition, having been restored by the previous owner. The seats have no rips, tears or holes and a new headlining has been fitted. The GT6 sits proudly on a set of very rare 5J x 13 steel wheels which were professionally restored, and powder coated and are shod with new tyres. The engine and gearbox were also extensively rebuilt by the previous vendor in 2017/18. The history file contains various photos and receipts from the extensive restoration, previous MoT records, and the current UK registration document. The registration number which is included in the sale is the original number allocated to the car in 1974. This is a wonderful example and one of the nicest we have seen.

1961 Daimler SP250 Dart 'B' Specification Transmission: automaticMileage:64489The controversially styled Daimler Dart was introduced at the New York Motor Show in 1959 and had its European debut at the 1959 Earls Court Motor Show; the Dart name was soon dropped after the threat of legal action from Chrysler who had a car of that name within their Dodge division. Thereafter this new sports car was known as the Daimler SP250.  Power was provided by the 2.5 litre, Edward Turner designed, V8 that soon became revered for the smoothness in its power delivery with 140bhp on tap.  Independent double wishbone front suspension at the front and half elliptical springs at the rear with a live rear axle kept the car on the road with stopping power supplied by hydraulic disc brakes on all four corners.  The coachwork was constructed with glass reinforced plastic providing a tough, strong and lightweight shape that enhanced performance with exciting and non-traditional looks.  The 120mph plus capability was recognised by the police and they were soon being used as high-speed chase cars. DMY 160A underwent a full nut and bolt restoration which included a complete engine rebuild including pistons, bearings and all new valves and guides to the cylinder heads. During the restoration the car benefitted from marque specialist, Robert Grinter's rear gas telescopic suspension upgrade and the essential rack and pinion steering conversion. There are two 7" electric fans fitted on a thermostat which, coupled with the automatic transmission, means that the car is just as comfortable in the city as it is on long cruises. The body was stripped to the gel coat and repainted in Jaguar Opalescent Grey, it has a new hood and has been completely retrimmed in Oxblood leather. The car was purchased new in June 1961 from Stratstone, London, by Dr. Derek Ivor Segall, a Harley Street doctor who lived in the fabulously named house 'By the Way', London Road, Stanmore, who ordered the car with a very rare automatic transmission. Dr. Segall kept the car for four years, before selling it on to an Anthony Mitchell who lived in Kensington High Street, London, who then went to live in Northern Ireland, taking the car with him. The car remained there until it was bought and restored in 2016 and finally returned to its former glory.Supplied with the UK V5C registration document, original buff log book, Heritage Certificate, history file and photographic record of its restoration along with an editorial piece in 'Royal North of Ireland Yacht Club' magazine which covers the cars restoration. This rare automatic SP250 offers great usability along with a desirable history and presented in nicely restored condition.

1929 Morris Flatnose Doctors Coupé Transmission: manualMileage:William Morris's first car was called Oxford in recognition of its home city. It was announced in The Autocar magazine in October 1912 and production began in March 1913. Virtually all components were bought-in and assembled by Morris. It was a small car with a 1018 cc four-cylinder side-valve engine. The car got its popular name, Bullnose, from its distinctive round-topped radiator. Most bodies were of the two-seat open-tourer type, there was also a van version, but the chassis did not allow four-seat bodies to be fitted. The 1919 Oxford was also assembled from locally made components and now took on the rather more substantial aspect of 1915's Cowley. Longer and stronger than the old Oxford, enough to carry five passengers, the new Oxford retained the pre-war Bullnose radiator style in its larger version. The new car's 11.9hp, 1548 cc engine was made under licence in Coventry for Morris by Hotchkiss the French company. In 1923 the engine was enlarged to 13.9hp, 1802 cc. This became known as the 14/28 engine. In 1925 it got a longer wheelbase chassis to move it further from the Cowley, and four-wheel brakes. The distinctive bullnose radiator was dropped in 1926 in an updated version of the car. The engines remained the same, but a new range of bodies was offered including all-steel saloons. There were substantial changes to the chassis frame which was now firmly fixed to the bulkhead. This is one of two rare 1929 Morris Oxford Flatnose Doctors Coupé's which were, in the 1990's, part of a pre-war Morris collection owned by Donald Ridgley who it is believed to have carried cosmetic restoration to both cars before being sold to two different people. The first 1929 Morris Oxford Flatnose Doctors Coupé with dickie seat was purchased by the vendors husband in 2005, it had had some restoration which included a new interior, this was done when it was owned by Donald Ridgley. When it arrived it was running and driving well but had a crack in the windscreen and a couple of other minor faults which meant it would not pass a MoT test. The car was parked up though regularly stared and checked it was not used. Recently The car has taken from storage and gone through, even though it does not require an MoT all the minor faults, not including the windscreen, have been repaired and we are informed that everything now works. We would recommend that the purchaser of this car has it fully serviced and have the tyres replaced as it has not been moved for seventeen years. Finished in black with green side panels and green interior this rare Morris Oxford Doctors Coupé is supplied with a V5 registration document, original handbook and service manual.

1968 Singer Chamois Transmission: automaticMileage:71041Singer Motors Limited was a British motor vehicle manufacturing business, originally a bicycle manufacturer founded in 1874 in Coventry. From 1901 George Singer's Singer Motor Co made cars and commercial vehicles. The last car to carry the Singer name was an upmarket version of the rear engined Hillman Imp called the Chamois. With the takeover of Rootes by Chrysler beginning in 1964 and completed in 1967, many of the brands were set to vanish and use of the Singer name ended in 1970. This rare Singer Chamois was registered on the 27th November 1968 and presents in dark green with a contrasting grey interior and polished walnut veneer dash. Taking advantage of the mechanics of a Hillman Imp but fitted with the standard equipment of temperature gauge, oil pressure gauge and heater blower this Singer is described by the vendor as tremendous fun to drive. When launched this model received very favourable press and sold well. Presented to auction with a V5C registration document and offered without reserve.

1985 Land Rover 90 County Station Wagon Transmission: manualMileage:76200The Land Rover Defender was developed in the 1980's from the original Land Rover series that was launched at the Amsterdam Motor Show in April 1948. This four-wheel drive vehicle was the British equivalent of the American Willys Jeep. The car comes with factory genuine rubber mats and new front footwell carpets. Most of the paintwork is original however some paintwork has been done recently on the front wings and bonnet due to a previous poor paint repair. The car has been meticulously maintained over the years using genuine parts where possible. 1981 Cadillac Seville Transmission: manualMileage:51525The Seville was manufactured by Cadillac between 1975 and 2004 as a smaller-sized, premium model. It was replaced by the STS in 2004. The name of 'Cadillac's first small car' was selected over a revival Lasalle or the GM design staff's preference, Lascala, primarily because, as noted by GM Marketing Director Gordon Horsburgh, It had no negatives. This new model was Cadillacs answer to the rising popularity of European luxury imports such as Mercedes-Benz and BMW. The companies' planners were concerned that their once high ranking in automotive production was fading, especially among the younger generation of car buyers. This 1981 second generation example was registered in the UK in July 2006.It has benefitted from coachworks that have extended the bonnet making the rare example we see today. Powered by a 6.0 litre engine, we are told that this Cadillac glides with ease and is a joy to drive. The paintwork is in good order and the interior is immaculate. Presented to auction with a V5C registration document, the sale of this funky looking piece of American includes the desirable cherished number plate.

1979 Ford Cortina Mk. IV 2.0S Transmission: manualMileage:75007The fourth-generation Cortina was a more conventional design than its predecessor, and this was largely appreciated by fleet buyers. Generally, it was a rebody of the Mk. III with little mechanical change as an integration of Ford's model range, and as a result, the Cortina and Taunus now differed only in badging. Although the updated Taunus was introduced to Continental Europe in January 1976, Ford were able to continue selling the Cortina Mk. III in undiminished numbers in the UK until they were ready to launch its successor as the Dagenham built Cortina Mark IV, which went on sale on 29th September 1976. Many parts were carried over, most notably the running gear. The raised driving position and the new instrument panel had, along with some of the suspension upgrades, already been introduced to the Cortina Mk. III in 1973, so that from the driving position, the new car looked much more familiar to owners of recent existing Cortina's than from the outside.Originally registered on 1st April 1979 this Cortina Mk. IV is an exceptionally rare 2.0S model. Finished in white with the sport Carla interior trim which is in good order, this is a restoration project, however what a great car to carry out a restoration on. It is not known how many S derivate Mk. IV's are surviving today but is thought less than 20 nationwide and with the figure likely to be around 12. This is a relatively simple restoration project and as any Ford aficionados are aware, these are simple, uncomplicated cars to work on. The owner's clubs are a great source of information in respect to technical data and tracking down any obscure parts. Supplied with a V5C registration document, this iconic Ford Cortina deserves to be restored to her former glory.

2004 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti Transmission: manualMileage:24000The Scaglietti 2+2 Coupé was penned by Frank Stephenson under Ken Okuyama at Pininfarina, and it is said that design, especially the strident side scallops and headlights, were a nod to the coachbuilt 1954 375 MM that film director, Roberto Rossellini, had commissioned for his wife Ingrid Bergan. The newcomer replaced the outgoing 456 but, being physically larger, was a genuine four-seat Grand Tourer. It was Ferrari's second all-aluminium vehicle and comprised of a spaceframe manufactured in conjunction with Alcoa, that was a combination of extrusions and castings to which the body was then welded. The same chassis formed the basis of Ferrari's 599 GTB flagship Grand Tourer. The front, mid-mounted, V12 powerplant was shared with the 575 Superamerica and was not six litres as the name suggests but 5.7, though big enough for a healthy power output of 533bhp and equally impressive performance figures, including a 0-62mph time of 4.2 seconds and a top speed north of the magic 200mph. A total of just 3,025 units were manufactured between 2004 and 2011, of which just 199 are manual examples!Registered new on 16th February 2007 this well presented example is offered in a wonderful colour combination and is a very rare manual example. Forming part of the current vendors private collection the 612 Scaglietti has been maintained regardless of cost and has been used occasionally during his tenure. Offered with all relevant Ferrari booklets, many sundry invoices and receipts, old MoT records, the UK registration document, and a current MoT test certificate. This rare example is ready to be enjoyed by its new custodian and will enhance any serious collection.

1954 Bentley R-Type Transmission: automaticMileage:84048The R-Type is the second series of post-war Bentley motorcars and replaced the Mk. VI. Essentially a larger boot version of the Mk. V. The R-type was a development of the Mk. VI Bentley with several mechanical improvements such as higher rear axle ratios, the chassis and engine being carried forward into the later S class which remained in production until the Silver Shadow of 1966. As with its predecessor, a standard body was available as well as coachbuilt versions by firms including H.J. Mulliner, Park Ward, Harold Radford, Freestone and Webb and others. Even by this date, there was little difference (other than the radiator grilles and the carburation) between the standard Bentley R-Type and the Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn, though Bentley was still the more popular sporting marque. Indeed, the vast majority of cars produced were Bentleys with some 2,500 units manufactured during the R-Type's run. During development, it was referred to as the Bentley Mk. VII; even the chassis cards for these cars describe them as Bentley 7's. The R-Type name, which is now usually applied, stems from chassis series RT. The front of the saloon model was identical to the Mk. VI but the boot was almost doubled in capacity and the engine increased in displacement from 4¼ to 4½ litres. First issued with the Manchester registration number 'OVU 200' on April 22nd 1954, chassis B73WG had been in single family custodianship for 67 years until the vendor purchased the car last year. Reportedly a clothing fastener producer, the first owner must have enjoyed considerable success to be able to buy himself a new Bentley R-Type in 1954. Highly original with a particularly delightful interior, the rich red leather and polished wood veneers exude a wonderful patina. The gloss black paintwork has a deep shine with some imperfections that are to be expected on such an original car that is sixty-eight years old. Recently recommissioned following almost a decade of dry storage, the R-Type starts readily and the vendor reports the car to run and drive very well.Supplied with V5C registration document, sundry paperwork, original driver's handbook and MoT test certificate valid until November 2022. A rare opportunity to acquire a low ownership and highly original Bentley with a wonderful patina.

1980 Mitsubishi Sapporo Transmission: automaticMileage:71131The Mitsubishi Sapporo coupé was in production from 1978 until 1984. These were very well equipped vehicles for the time. Standard equipment included four electric windows revealing a great looking pillarless coupé, power steering, alloy wheels and a radio cassette. Compare that to the UK based manufacturers at the time and it is easy to see how the Japanese manufacturers managed to gain such a foothold in the UK market. These cars are supremely reliable and simple to work on.This example was originally registered in the UK on 5th September 1980 and presents in remarkable condition, particularly taking into account the car is 40 years old. The white coachwork is in very good condition and the beige velour interior is also in very good order showing no real signs of wear. We are advised the car drives well and is supplied with a V5C registration document, a MoT test certificate which expires in February 2023, service books and manual, together with a substantial history folder. These cars are rare and highly sought-after. Mitsubishi Sapporo's in this condition are virtually unheard of.

2006 MG ZT V8 260 Transmission: manualMileage:47552In 2001, three years after the launch of the Rover 75, and less than a year after the demerger of MG Rover from BMW, the MG ZT and MG ZT-T were launched. During the cars' development, the models were codenamed X10 and X11, for the saloon and estate versions, respectively. The basic shape and styling of the MG ZT remained the same as for the Rover 75 but with changes to the front bumper, now with an integrated grille, and detail alterations including colour coding of the chromed waistline, a new boot lid plinth, and different alloy wheels and tyres sizes. During the first few months of 2004, MG Rover facelifted the design of the ZT and ZT-T to a less retro look, at the same time as the Rover 75 received a facelift. This didn't feature much in the way of mechanical differences to the ZT, most changes were merely aesthetic. The main changes to the car included the replacement of the twin headlamps, with a new, clear single headlamp unit. Between 2003 and 2006 the top of the ZT range, and the rarest, was rear wheel drive and powered by the Ford 4601cc V8 engine giving 300bhp, 0-60 in 6.3 seconds and a top speed of 155mph.This rare, UK supplied, MG ZT 260 fitted with the Ford V8 engine and five speed manual gearbox was first registered in November 2006 and has only covered 47,500 miles from new. Finished in grey with black interior this MG ZT 260 is supplied with a V5 registration document, an MoT test certificate which expires in April 2023 and the original handbook pack. The British Bulldog is alive and kicking with this model and at that time was built to rival the BMW M3, with its rear wheel drive linked to a limited-slip differential. This much overlooked car is discreet on the outside, luxurious inside, but equipped with a heart of thunder.

1966 Pontiac GTO Monkee-mobile Transmission: manualMileage:77817Formed in Los Angeles in 1966 The Monkees consisted of Micky Dolenz, Michael Nesmith, Peter Tork and Davy Jones. The group was conceived for a situation comedy series of the same name and enjoyed considerable success with music included in the show which was also released on LP. Spurred on by the success of the show, The Monkees were one of the most successful bands of the 1960s. The band sold more than 75 million records worldwide making them one of the biggest-selling groups of all time with international hits, including 'Last Train to Clarksville', 'I'm a Believer', 'A Little Bit Me, a Little Bit You', 'Pleasant Valley Sunday', and 'Daydream Believer', and four chart-topping albums. Newspapers and magazines falsely reported that The Monkees outsold The Beatles and The Rolling Stones combined in 1967.This Monkee-mobile was created in New York from a 1966 Pontiac GTO by James Benken, a specialist East Coast film car custom shop. It was then shipped to the UK just in time for The Monkees 2011, 45th anniversary tour beginning in Liverpool. The driver for that tour is the current owner of this stunning Pontiac and he has described the tremendous amount of fun he and the band had touring around the UK. So welcome was the car by the band, that Peter Tork, bass guitarist and banjo player, couldn't believe what he was seeing and said that he hadn't seen it since they were filming the TV series back in the 1970s. This manual transmission Pontiac is fully road legal and is well known on the celebrity vehicle circuit. The bodywork is signed by the band and features in various photographs with them. With a recent example selling in America for over $250,000 this rare car is not only incredible fun, but sensibly priced given the provenance. The car has an MOT valid until May 2023.

1993 Mercedes-Benz SL600 'ex-Brunei Royal Family' Transmission: automaticMileage:2461In 1989, Mercedes-Benz introduced the fourth generation SL model, the R129, which was supplied in Europe with several engine options and named accordingly; the basic model was the 190hp three litre, inline six-cylinder 300 SL with 12 valves, and the 228hp three litre, inline six-cylinder with 24 valves, known as the 300 SL 24. However, it was the 322hp 500 SL with a five litre V8 engine which made the headlines, only surpassed by the flagship 600 SL with its fabulous V12 engine. The specification was high with electric windows, mirrors, seats and roof. The R129 model was the first convertible/roadster to offer the automatic roll-bar deployment in event of rollover, although the motorist could also manually raise and lower the roll-bar should he choose to, thus facilitating the clean look of the R129 without compromising the occupant's safety. The range topping 600 SL offered up 389hp through its six litre V12 engine, introduced in 1993 as the 600 SL, it was then re-named the SL600 in 1994 and reached 60mph in just 5.9 seconds. This range topping SL600 is offered in a rare Violet Blue BMW paint code, indeed the only one worldwide in this colour with black leather interior. We are informed was supplied in 1993 for the Brunei Royal collection where in its 28 years with them has covered a mere 2,461 kilometres from new. Imported to the UK in 2021, this example is understandably presented as new and represents a fantastic collectors' example with the most desirable engine combination. The SL600 includes almost everything that may have been optional for the SL500 such as dashboard-adjustable shocks and ride height control. This example is offered with V5C registration document, a current MoT test certificate and has had a comprehensive mechanical recommissioning with Mercedes-Benz main dealer. An ultra-desirable R129 SL Mercedes with the desirable V12 engine coupled with incredibly low mileage and provenance from the Brunei Royal family, this is a genuine collectors' car which we believe will be incredibly popular with bidders.

1961 Jaguar E-Type Series I Roadster (Outside bonnet lock) Transmission: manualMileage:34474When introduced at the 1961 Geneva Motor show, the new Jaguar E-Type caused a sensation with its sleek and timeless design backed by its staggering performance. Its design owed much to the racing D-Type, in fact, the E-Type would be one of the last great sports cars developed directly from a successful competition predecessor. Just as with the D-Type, a monocoque tub formed the main body/chassis while the engine and gearbox were supported by a tubular spaceframe. The engine was the same 3.8 litre, triple carburetted 'S' unit first offered as an option on the preceding XK150 model. With a claimed 265bhp giving a top speed of 153mph the E-Type was in the same league as the Italian V12 engined cars of the time. Features on the E-Type included disc brakes all round, rack and pinon steering, coil springs and double wishbone, and independent front suspension. The rear suspension broke new ground for a large capacity sportscar being independent at a time when most of its rivals relied on the traditional live rear axle. Often called the most beautiful production car of all time, the E-Type remains an automotive icon of design, engineering and speed. This delightful left hand drive Jaguar E-Type Roadster, fitted with the correct 'external bonnet locks' was supplied by Jaguar Cars, New York on 28th June to R. Donan, Excelsior, Minnesota. It is thought the car went to California shortly after registration, where it has spent most of its time, confirmed by its rust-free and original condition. Chassis number '875119' was supplied with engine number R1156-9, which was replaced with a 3.8 litre engine number R2131-9. This was also manufactured in 1961. The original engine block is supplied with the car and we are advised it could be restored and refitted to the car, should the new owner choose to do so. At the time of the engine change the original Moss gearbox was removed and replaced with a much more user-friendly synchromesh gearbox from a later 4.2 litre example. The car was purchased by the current owner in California and repatriated to the UK in February 2014, however prior to the car leaving the US she received a light restoration, retaining its original colour combination of Opalescent Gunmetal Grey with light blue interior. During the restoration it was found that the body still had most of its original features including three-piece, handmade doors, welded in bonnet louvres, additional drain holes in the boot channel and petrol filler aperture. Other notable original features are the Butler rear number plate lights, Dunlop brakes and the factory supplied cooling fan. The only other significant upgrade, other than the all-synchromesh gearbox is an aluminium radiator. This lovely E-Type is supplied with a V5C registration document, a copy of the Californian title, the Heritage certificate, a file containing photographs and various invoices and the original 'First Edition' handbook. Being the 119th left hand drive E-Type manufactured this is a very rare opportunity to purchase a good example of the 'Holy Grail' of E-Types and is one of the most desirable British icons available today.

1981 Ford Cortina Ghia Mk. V (2.0 litre) Transmission: manualMileage:995The biggest step forward for the fourth-generation Cortina was that it finally saw the convergence of the German Taunus and the British Cortina. No longer were these two separate ranges but merely the same cars carrying different badges. The Mk. V was announced on 24th August 1979 and officially the program was code named Teresa although externally it was marketed as 'Cortina 80'. Largely an update to the Mk. IV, it was really a step between a facelift and a re-body. The Mk. V differentiated itself from the Mk. IV by having revised headlights with larger turn indicators incorporated, a wider slatted grille said to be more aerodynamically efficient, a flattened roof, larger glass area, slimmer C-pillars with revised vent covers, larger slatted taillights (on saloon models) and upgraded trim. Improvements were also made to the engine range with slight improvements to both fuel economy and power output compared to the Mk. IVThis rare four door Mk. V Ford Cortina automatic was supplied new in London in December 1981. Due to its age it now qualifies for free road fund licence, it is MoT test exempt and is ULEZ compatible. This low ownership example has recently benefitted from a considerable amount of money being spent on recommissioning. Works included the fitting of a new radiator, exhaust pipe and alternator. The bodywork of this iconic Ford is in good order and is complemented by a sumptuous velour interior. The look is enhanced with period correct alloy wheels, a factory fitted steel sunroof and a working radio cassette player. An earlier engine rebuild was undertaken and this Cortina is fitted with a fully documented LPG conversion. We are informed that with the flick of a switch the car runs well on gas. The often troublesome automatic choke has recently been replaced with a much more user friendly manual version. Supplied with a V5C registration document, a valid MoT test certificate despite its exemption by age, and various paperwork including a superb Ford press release 'The Cortina story'. Offered without reserve this Ford is an opportunity not to be missed.

1973 Volkswagen GT 'Meyers Manx' Beach Buggy Transmission: manualMileage:1920Starting with the Meyers Manx in the early Sixties the dune buggy craze took off in America. Bruce Meyers' original concept was simple: take a Volkswagen Beetle, throw away the body leaving the floor pan which contained virtually all the components needed to make it run and drive, shorten the wheelbase and install a simple, one-piece fiberglass two-seat body. Meyers named it Manx for its stubby tail with the engine exposed, like the breed of cat. Even the buggy's stance, low at the front and high at the rear, emulated its feline namesake. Bruce F. Meyers, a Californian engineer, artist, boat builder and surfer, produced the Manx at his Fountain Valley, SoCal-based facilities from 1964 through 1971. Used up VW Beetles were abundant in California and the surf culture was at its peak in the Sixties. The dune buggy epitomized the California lifestyle, and as the concept was so simple and so inviting, it spread quickly. The Meyers Manx appeared in several movies, including Elvis Presley films, and the 1968 The Thomas Crown Affair, which contains a lengthy beach driving scene in which Steve McQueen drives a Manx with Faye Dunaway at his side.Registered on 2nd February 1973 this wonderful example looks superb in orange coachwork over a recently retrimmed black interior. Reported to run and drive very well the Manx looks outstanding and sits proudly on a set of original 1972 Porsche Fuchs wheels, as used on the Carrera race cars in period and which are worth circa £6,000 alone! Also fitted with the very rare and powerful VW 1600 GT engine of which very few units were built, this example is a real one off and looks fantastic! The chromework is bright and the paintwork and interior both present very well. Offered with various old MoT test certificates, its current UK registration document, and a current MoT valid until September 2022. Used very sparingly the long-standing owner has only recorded some 1,900 miles in the last 18 years! Recently serviced the Beach buggy sounds glorious when on song. We are sure this powerful and pretty 'Meyers Manx' beach buggy will be a sound purchase and huge amounts of fun in the coming summer months.Interested parties should note that this vehicle is not a Meyers Manx example. It is in fact a Volkswagen Beach Buggy by GP1.

1968 Fiat 124 Coupé Transmission: manualMileage:35000Renowned motoring Journalist LJK Setright praised the then new 124 Coupé highly, commenting that the steering is light and uncannily precise, and the chassis was decades ahead of the competition.  What a force for good was Fiat in those days! The 124, pioneer of load-dependent anti-lock braking, was imperturbable. The elegant S1 124 Coupé had unbelievably good roadholding.Autocar also exposed that Seldom have the Autocar staff been so unanimous of their praise of a car further saying handling and roadholding set new standards. These were the first cars to receive the now legendary Lampredi twin cam engine. They also had double wish bone front suspension with anti-roll bars and front and rear and disc brakes all round. The early S1's as this one is, had a different rear suspension set up than later cars in the shape of torque tube to the rear diff and an anti-roll bar. This resulted in exceptional handling there was virtually no body role.A beautiful and totally original early series one 124 Coupé presented in white with the optional five-speed gearbox and lovely red interior which is in very good condition. Completely original and a one owner car with 56,000km (about 35,000 miles) that has spent its entire life just outside Rome, largely unused for the last 30 years and was kept on axle stands. Although it was used as the wedding car for the owner's son's wedding in 2014 for which it was partially recommissioned for. Now fully overhauled, all suspension, outer anti-roll bar bushes and ball joints replaced, new front shock absorbers, cambelt and tensioner, front calipers, all oils, engine, gearbox and diff, brake fluid and coolant changed and new tyres. This lively and rare Fiat offers great handling, stylish Italian design and just simply a joy to drive. 1971 Fiat 500 Gamine Vignale Transmission: manualMileage:31505Frixos Demetriou was a successful casino owner in Cyprus and the owner of the Olympic Gaming Club in London. While in Milan his flight to Athens was diverted, he spotted an unusual looking car by the airport and on enquiry discovered that it was a Fiat 500 Gamine Vignale. The Gamine was a small two-seater roadster produced by Carozzeria Vignale from 1967 to 1971, based on the Fiat 500 platform using the two-cylinder air cooled engine from the 500 Sport. Demetriou was looking to diversify his business interests and sensing an opportunity he returned via Turin, securing the rights to sell Vignale products in the UK. He bought 200 cars upfront, paying with cash, and committed to buy the next six months production if Vignale would manufacture the car in right hand drive form. The Gamine two-seater was well received, becoming trendy with the Chelsea set - even nightclub owner Peter Stringfellow owned one. This genuine UK right hand drive example is the very rare and desirable Gamine model coachbuilt by Vignale. Purchased new by its one lady owner the Fiat has resided in South East England ever since and has been used regularly over its time. An unrestored example it is largely in original condition and has been maintained throughout ownership showing a pleasant and light patina. The only thing that has been changed is the colour of the wings which were repainted red some time ago. Mechanically in good order the Gamine starts up when asked and the 499cc engine runs very well. The bodywork and trim are correct and original as is the bodywork, having never been damaged or replaced. This example has an unrepeatable history and it represents a fantastic opportunity to acquire a very well presented Fiat 500 Gamine. Often described as a 'Noddy car' this example is offered with its original wet weather gear (in good order) and is supplied with a UK registration document, ready to be enjoyed by its new custodian.

2021 Ford F150 Pick-up Transmission: manualMileage:Since 1977, the F-Series has remained the best-selling pick-up truck line in the United States; it has been the highest-selling vehicle overall since 1981 and it is the best-selling vehicle in Canada for over fifty years. As of the 2018 model year, the F-Series generated $41 billion in annual revenue for Ford. By January 2022, the F-Series models have sold 40 million units. Currently, Ford manufactures the F-Series in four facilities in the United States.Despite leading the sales charts in North America, the F150 is seldom seen on British roads. This, as new, XL example is fully UK registered and presents well in white with a black interior. The look is enhanced with black wheels, side steps and privacy glass. With nearly 5.0 litres of power, this four-wheel drive double cab pick-up is an ease to drive. This rare Ford performed well on a recent test drive and was a joy to drive. Offered with a V5C registration document, this F150 is realistically priced considering the rarity of the model in this country.

1973 Jensen Interceptor Mk. III SP Transmission: automaticMileage:1500Alan and his brother Richard Jensen first became involved with car design and construction in 1925 when their efforts to improve on the styling and performance of an Austin Seven Chummy attracted much favourable attention. A few Jensen-bodied Fords were produced in the mid-1930s before a more serious manufacturing effort commenced in 1938. After World War II, Jensen kept itself afloat by producing bodies for other manufacturers, most notably Austin Healey, while producing its own stylish GTs in limited numbers. It was not until the Interceptor's arrival in 1967 that cars began to leave the West Bromwich factory in more substantial numbers. With the Interceptor's introduction, Jensen switched from glass fibre to steel for its car bodies, though underneath the preceding C-V8's chassis, running gear and 6,276 cc Chrysler engine remained substantially unchanged. With around 280 bhp on tap, performance was more than adequate, The Motor recording a top speed of 140 mph with 100 mph arriving from a standstill in 19 seconds. Four-wheel servo-assisted Dunlop discs looked after the braking while the ride quality could be varied by the Armstrong Selectaride dampers' dashboard control. Leather upholstery, reclining front seats, and walnut veneer trim were all standard features of this Vignale-styled Anglo-American GT, while automatic transmission was the choice of almost all buyers. The Series II incorporated revised front suspension, Girling brakes, and a redesigned interior, while the Series III, introduced in October 1971, came with a 7.2-litre engine, better seats, central locking, and GKN alloy wheels. The SP (six-pack) was the rare one - with only 232 being built. This lovely example is the very rare and desirable SP model and is presented in Black Garnet, synonymous as a Rolls-Royce colour and looks superb. Its interior has been upgraded to a more luxurious specification to include new front seats with burgundy leather, including door cards and the dash and console have been replaced with burr walnut which looks superb. The current vendor has owned this wonderful sports car since 1976 and is only the third owner from new. In this time, he has also enhanced the Jensen with some extremely smart modifications which include hydraulic lifts for the boot lid, operated from inside with a switch and there is an air compressor in the boot which can be connected up to a fixture which would enable one to blow up the tyres whenever necessary; the spare tyre automatically descends on the press of a button and ascends on the push of a button making it very practical to access when needed. The front seats recline electrically, electric folding mirrors, one touch electric windows and there are footwell lights to front and rear. The air conditioning works well, and the owner has also fitted ABS brakes which makes sense these days and he also boxed in the front and rear wheel arches which keeps the engine bay devoid of road dirt and the rear also. The headlining was also replaced, and the owner also had all controls for indicators etc mounted on stalks from the steering column. Its original mighty 7.2 litre engine is fabulous, and the original SP (six pack) has been removed and replaced with a more user-friendly single twin choked carburettor. The car is also fitted with an immobilizer, new stainless-steel exhaust and it comes with a good photographic and documented history. This really is a superb example that has been sympathetically upgraded to an extremely high standard making it very drivable and useable compared to its more 'original' examples.

1955 Bentley S1 by HJ Mulliner Transmission: manualMileage:83560Successor to the R-Type, the Bentley S1 was introduced in 1955 with a whole new chassis; the car's wheelbase had been extended 3 to 123, and the luggage compartment was expanded. The S1 had softer suspension than the R-Type, with electrically controlled rear shock absorbers. Brakes had been improved and the steering was lighter, even more so after 1957 with optional power assisted steering. This model marked the final integration of Bentley with Rolls-Royce - the standard saloons were now entirely alike, but for grilles and badging. The engine was Rolls' 4887cc F-head six, in its final configuration before the introduction of V8 power in 1959. Manual gearboxes were supplied only to special order. With the introduction of the aluminium 6230cc V8 engine in 1959, the S1 Bentley became the S2, and the corresponding Rolls-Royce was renamed Silver Cloud II. The British magazine 'The Motor' reported a top speed of 103 mph and 0-60 acceleration of 13.1 seconds from a short-wheelbase S1 in 1957.One of just 27 Bentley S1's bodied by H.J. Mulliner & Co  and one of just 25 right hand drive examples with the drophead coupé chassis, found detailed in the supplied specification sheets in the history file, this example is presented in maroon with cream leather trim and supplied new by HR Owen Ltd to Mr Jacobson of Jackson the Tailors in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Ordered in November 1955 and delivered to Mr Jacobson Esq. in July 1956 he owned the car until June of 1967 when he sold it to Mr Mealey of Chorley, Lancashire. Now presenting very well with new headlining and a recent full detail the car is a rare and handsome four-door saloon, representing a significant part of Bentleys coachbuilt history. Documents in the history file include original sales orders from the Rolls-Royce and Bentley Owners Club but also maintenance records as far back as 1990 on file, previously owned by prominent Rolls-Royce and Bentley historians and authors this is a very desirable motorcar indeed.

1974 Ford Capri Mk. I GXL (3.0 litre) Transmission: manualMileage:42457The Ford Capri is a fastback coupé that was manufactured from 1969 to 1986, designed by American Philip Clark, one of the main designers of the Mustang. Using the mechanical components from the Mk. II Cortina and intended as the European equivalent of the Ford Mustang, the Capri went on to be a highly successful car for Ford selling nearly 1.9 million units in its lifetime. A wide variety of engines were used in the Capri throughout its production lifespan. This Capri is in very original condition and shows only two previous owners. The vendor is a very knowledgeable enthusiast. This Mk. I Capri is clearly a much loved and cherished example. The blue paintwork is in very good order showing no signs of any corrosion and the rare blue interior appears to be in superb condition. The 3000cc Essex engine is a very robust unit and can produce a swift performance, we are advised she drives as good as she looks. This 48-year-old Ford is supplied with a V5C registration document and is exempt from MoT. It is rare to see a Mk. I Capri on the road and even rarer to see one in GXL specification in this condition.

1975 Jaguar SS100 By Birchfield Transmission: manualMileage:4177The Birchfield Sports is inspired by the famous Jaguar SS100 of the 1930s. Viewed by many as the best SS100 replicas in the world, The Birchfield Sports was originally created by Nick Topping as a one-off in 1982 before Clive Smart of Shapecraft in Northampton subsequently put it into production. Clive, a specialist car builder, had his roots in the traditional craft of working with steel and aluminium bodies over a timber frame. He wanted to produce a car which would use the tried and tested mechanical parts of the Jaguar XJ6 but built onto a body designed on the evocative lines of the beautiful Jaguar SS100. It was this concept which resulted in the Birchfield Sports. Due to the complexity of the design almost all of these cars were built by the professional engineers at the company itself. As only 22 Birchfields were ever built they rarely become available and are currently marketed at around or above the £100,000 mark. The body is hand-formed from 16-gauge aluminium over a chassis made from 40mm square steel tube with a rigid backbone. The running gear was sourced from the tried and tested Jaguar XJ6 and used the straight-six XK 4.2-litre engine which gives fabulous performance in such a lightweight car. The wheels are bolt-on 6.5Jx15 chrome wires with stainless steel spokes. This lovely example of this rare British built tribute to its more famous forbearer the Jaguar SS100, had its aluminium panels handmade by a group of ex-Aston Martin panel beaters and the result is stunning. Presented in red with tan leather interior, walnut dash and its automatic gearbox is mated to a 4.2 Jaguar engine, this truly is a great fun sports car. It has a black hood and has had only two previous owners in the last 37 years with the car having only covered a mere 4177 miles from when it was built. Aesthetically pleasing with a fabulous exhaust note from its twin rear protruding exhausts, this sports car will delight many both as a driver or a passenger, attracting many enviable glances at the same time!
