An Extremely Rare 1911 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost Mascot A magnificent Edwardian Rolls-Royce Spirit of Ecstasy mascot for the 40/50HP six cylinder Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost automobile, this being the rarest type, produced for only 6 months back in 1911, having various correct period dating features including the hollow under base area & most importantly the words 'Rolls-Royce Limited 6th FEBRUARY 1911' around the base area, as opposed to all other Ghost mascots which read 'Rolls-Royce Ltd FEB 1911'. This rare mascot features the signature of Charles Sykes across the top of the base area and no under-wing markings, which is correct on all pre-World War One examples. A stunning and impressive item of the very finest detail, deep original pre-war nickel-silver plated finish on bronze base metal, mounting stud and fittings, mounted to a display base.

A Rare Michelin Tyres Presentation Clock A striking and most-unusual c1920/30s electric mantle/office clock, featuring a pierced brass chapter ring laid to a blue tinted glass panel with an intricate inscribed illustration of Monsieur Bibendum sat by a pillar compressor, along with 'Michelin' & 'Tyres' in script etched into the rear. The glass panel and lacquered base are both in good condition however electrical condition is unknown. An important piece of Michelin history.
Rare Alberto Ascari Signed Italian Magazine Il Campione del Giorno', Dated 26th January 1952, signed clearly in black ink to the cover by Ascari - the front cover features the evocative image of the great driver behind the wheel of a red single-seater. The signature features his Christian name 'Alberto', making it all the more special as he more commonly only signed his surname. Loose spine and some reading wear.

Elvis Presley and Mohammed Ali Signed Presentation A large signed photographic presentation, features the famous image captured on February 14th 1972, depicting Presley pretending to box with Ali in his hotel room. Presley was a huge fan and had personally commissioned the rhinestone covered robe seen in the picture at a cost of $3000, which he had gifted to him earlier that evening. Below the main image is an original Elvis Presley publicity postcard, signed in blue ballpoint ink, together with a newspaper cutting, signed in black ink by Ali. Captioned, professionally framed and glazed. A very rare piece of memorabilia. 55x65cm.

Reputedly presented to a selection of professional drivers in period by the B.R. & S.C.C. Mounted to a wooden display base and offered in good original condition. A similar piece that was presented to Jochen Rindt in 1971 sold at a Christies auction in 2011 for $1,434.
A Rare Bentley Owner's Club Car Club Badge The 'Bentley Owners Club' was an elite Brooklands affiliated car club, which ran from the late 1920s until the outbreak of War. Membership included the famous "Bentley Boys" and other motoring personalities. Plated-finish in good original condition, with red badge insignia. These badges were produced in very small numbers and therefore are fairly crude in their construction. 12cm tall and mounted to a display base.

A Rare Minerva AL-Series 8-Litre Mascot An impressive and extremely scarce Minerva Goddess mascot for the eight cylinder AL-series Minerva cars of the late 1920s and early 1930s period, designed by the Flemish sculptor Pierre de Soete; (the AL being Minerva's finest automobile), the mascot signed P. de Soete to the side and numbered to the opposite side, exceptional attention to detail and finish, complete with the original fitted Minerva AL-series "MM" (Minerva Motors) scripted radiator cap, plated finish.
Malcolm Campbell Ephemera A rare Brooklands Junior Car Club (J.C.C) car badge, 1930s period, numbered J2779, complete with a J.C.C. membership card, with signature of the secretary of the J.C.C plus one reading 'Malcolm Campbell' - display base mounted. Together with a large silver-plated bronze/enamel member's lapel badge from the same estate. Plus, a cloth Union Jack pennant, c1930s, signed in pencil 'M. Campbell', together with a menu from the centenary of the 'Ancient Order of the Foresters Friendly Society', signed to the cover 'M. Campbell' - Malcolm Campbell was reputedly a guest speaker at the event, held on 26th October 1934, however he doesn't feature in the table plan. (5)
Rare 'Sanglier' Wild Boar Accessory Mascot by R. Lalique * Model No. 1157, first introduced circa 1929, superbly detailed, constructed of frosted crystal glass with an integral clear glass circular base. 'Sanglier' measures a little over 9cms (3.5 ins) from nose to tail with maximum height just over 7 cms (2.75 ins).The base features the post-1945 signature in script 'Lalique France'. Offered in excellent condition.

An inverted 'C', part of the letter 'A' and half an 'X' are visible below the left of the tree and there are traces above the tree. R20/11 also shows the 'cloud' variety.
