(Some browning/foxing, but in very good condition). NOTE: Coloured lithograph with arched upper corners by Joseph Félon (1818-1896), depicting Uncle Tom behind a desk writing to his wife and children. In France, Harriet Beecher Stowe’s 'Uncle Tom’s Cabin', most often translated as 'La case de l’oncle Tom', was an explosive sensation, shortly after first translations were available. The story: Tom meets Eva, an angelic little white girl, on a river boat on the Mississippi River where he is to be transported to a slave market. They quickly become friends. Eva falls into the river and Tom dives into the river to save her life. Being grateful to Tom, Eva's father Augustine St. Clare buys him from his former owner and takes him with the family to their home in New Orleans. Tom and Eva begin to relate to one another because of the deep Christian faith they both share. - Very rare, in fact we have not been able to trace another copy in any collection or on the market.

Please note the record is visually graded as Fair and audio grading as G. With sharp, clean and lovely labels in Ex condition, the record contains numerous surface marks, scuffs and some feelable scratches. Both sides playing with surface noise, there is a small skip towards the end of Hello, Goodbye with some popping and heavy surface noise on the opening section of I Am The Walrus. The songs can still be enjoyed despite this. Original serrated rim. Matrix/mother stampers (machine stamped): 7XCE 18433-1 1 G & 7XCE 18434-1 1 G. Housed with original company sleeve.

BILL EVANS - THE COMPLETE RIVERSIDE RECORDINGS LP BOX SET (LIMITED EDITION 18x LP JAPANESE ISSUE - RIVERSIDE VIJ-5072-89). A 1985 limited Japanese edition 18x LP set of Bill Evans Complete Riverside Recordings (VIJ-5072-89, set comes with obi strip and 2 booklets (Red in English/Green in Japanese). The Japanese edition was only available as pre-order. This compilation presents, on 18 LP'S, the full results of 20 recording sessions from the pivotal eight-year period (1956-63) that launched the remarkable career of Bill Evans and defined his position as one of the most significant, pace-setting jazz pianists of all time. Here, in chronological order, are 151 performances, including the entire existing output of the legendary 1961 Village Vanguard session, as well as 17 selections from a previously unissued solo studio session and seven other unreleased items. Ranging from solo to quintet, this collection also features such major artists as Cannonball Adderley, Freddie Hubbard, Philly Joe Jones, Jim Hall, Percy Heath, Paul Chambers, Ron Carter, Zoot Sims, and Scott LaFaro. Dinky Toys - A rare Dinky Toys no.121 'Goodwood' Sports Cars Gift Set. The set contains Dinky Toys #112 Austin Healey Sprite in red with cream interior; #113 MGB in white with red interior plus driver; #182 Porsche 356A in cream with spun hubs; and #120 Jaguar E-Type. The MGB and Porsche have some paint chips along raised edges but otherwise appear Good overall - The Jaguar and Austin appear Very Good - Excellent. The set comes with six figures in total being five mechanic figures plus one standing driver figure which is missing its base - otherwise figures generally appear Very Good. The buff and red display box with stepped insert has some age and storage wear, some tape marks, fading, and appears to have has some repairs to the stepped insert, appearing generally Fair Plus overall. The lot is also accompanied with Dinky Toys #009 Service Station Personnel Set which contains eight figures - some of these could be used to complete the 'Goodwood' set - these appear Very Good in Very Good case with Good inner with some tape marks to base. Funktionstüchtiger Abzug mit Stecherknopf, eiserner Abzugsbügel. Kurzer Holzkolben (Risse) mit eingeritzten Randlinien und Dekor aus Punktpunzen, auf der Anschlagseite ein eingelegtes Beinmedaillon, darauf ein graviertes Eichhörnchen, am Kolbenfuß eine eiserne Kugel (darunter eine vakante Bohrung). Vereinzelt Schmiederisse, Hartlotspuren, kleine Druckstellen. Bogenweite 33 cm, Gesamtlänge 47 cm. Vergleichbare Stücke sind aus Nürnberg bekannt. Zierliche Armbrust in selten schöner Originalerhaltung. Teilweise Risse, kleine Druckstellen an Holz und Bein. Ergänzte imprägnierte Hanfsehne (Risse). Bogenweite 71 cm, Gesamtlänge 109 cm. Selten elegante westeuropäische Armbrust mit schönen Details. Ähnliche Armbruste sind auf den Gemälden von Jan Brueghel d. Ä. zu finden (Schmiede des Vulkan). An iron pin on the side serves as a counter bearing for a gaffle. Intact single-axle trigger mechanism with a bone nut (iron mounting) and a spring-loaded, intricately grooved trigger. Cracks here and there, minor indentations in the wood and bone. Replaced, impregnated hemp bowstring (frayed). Width of the bow 71 cm, total length 109 cm. Rare western European crossbow with elegant lines and exquisite details. Similar crossbows can be seen in the paintings of Jan Brueghel the Elder (Forge of Vulcan).Condition: II
