A fine quality and rare mid 18th century crossbanded walnut veneered and herringbone inlaid cased striking eight day longcase clock with spherical ball moonface movement by Thomas Ogden of Halifax, circa 1750, the 35cm arched brass dial applied with dolphin, mask and scrolling foliage spandrels, the dial with subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture and twin winding holes, the elegant trunk having a shaped door with glazed lenticle, the crossbanded base raised on a moulded outswept plinth and short bracket feet, with twin weights and pendulum, height 240cm (Illustrated)
2 rare memorial cards to commemorate the sinking of the "Titanic" April 1912, each measuring 4½" x 3", printed in black over white with a black and silver border, one with "In memorium" on one side and on the reverse "In sacred memory of the "Titanic" which collided with an iceburg off Cape Race, on April 15th 1912. The most appalling disaster in maritime history with a loss of over 1,500 lives"; the other card, a picture of Titanic and a poem on the reverse. GC for age (some creasing and splitting)

In LNER Apple green livery, large cab spectacles, gold works plate, solid trailing wheels and running number on both buffer beams. NE covered van 182153, NE open wagon 404844, NE 20T brake van 178717. Curved and straight track, oil phial etc. Tested & Guaranteed label dated 24 Nov 1948. In 1940s blue box with applied labels and fine lettering to the box insert, minor wear. Contents VGC. Plate. Inside front cover.
2 rare very early Meccano Sets. Set 4 and 4A. Produced in the "Nickel Period" (1907-1926). Probably dating from the pre WW1 period due to the style of the picture on the inside of No. 4 box lid. Each set looks to be complete with all their correct parts including 4 windmill vanes with "Meccano" impressed to each. Straits of varying sizes, flat sheets, angled sheets, cogs, wheels, plus nuts and bolts in original packs, etc. No.4 is complete with its lift out tray. No. 4 also looks to have been purchased in France. Boxes are in a well used condition and some what tattered. Contents are GC-VGC for age. Some rusting to nickel parts.

A rare French Joustra tinplate clockwork powered open backed 4 wheel truck. Approx 10" long in the style of a 1930's forward control vehicle finished in dark blue with red and white line detailing, black roof to cab, driver seated inside, simple motor to rear wheels with fixed winding key. Two piece wheels with silver hub caps. GC-some age wear overall. Motor AF.

An example with mid blue hull and hatch above clockwork motor with cream deck and dark blue engine vents etc. Clockwork motor in working order, complete with propeller. Boxed with paperwork-some wear/damage. Boat a fine example with little use, but hull will require a professional repaint as it has been over painted to look like water splashing by!

A rare and large grey matted World War II German pilot's navigation wristwatch, by Gerhard Wempe of Hamburg FI 23883, diameter 5.5cm. As of around 1937, watches used by the German Airforce were fitted with a panel indicating manufacturer, serial number and "FI" number. In order to disguise information regarding manufacturer and quantities produced, these indications were coded from 1941 onwards. The watches were primarily tested by the German Aviation Research Institute and classified with a so-called "FI.-number". The FI. stands for flight and the first two digits 23 stand for navigation, followed by the three digit serial number given by the DVL (German Aviation Research Institute) (Illustrated).

A rare 19th century French walnut cased regulator, with a jewelled pin wheel escapement and an unusual circular engraved brass dial, with subsidiary dials for month, moon and date, and four pierced apertures for the signs of the Zodiac, four parts of the day, the planets and the seasons, all titled in Latin, with an enamel chapter ring and a brass bezel, the steel pendulum with a twin canister mercury bob, the case with canted corners having figured veneers and applied mouldings, the base with a hinged door, 84.5in (215.6cm) h. The pierced apertures have finely engraved images, each titled thus ; Liver, Printemps, Etas, Avtonne; Vespra, Nox, Avrora, Merides; Sol, Lina, Mars, Mercvrivs, Ivpiter, Venus, Satvrn.
