Nearly very fine but slightly double-struck, rare £100-£120 --- The radiate star presumably alludes to the Virgin Mary’s title ‘Stella Maris’ - star of the sea - although Mitchiner interprets it as a catherine wheel

Agra Medical School, General Proficiency medal, a silver award by A. Wyon, undated, bare head of Edward VII left, rev. helmeted bust of Athena left, un-named, 52mm, 72.78g (Pudd. 948.16.3 [‘not traced’]). Two small scratches on obverse, otherwise about extremely fine, very rare £200-£260 --- It is believed that the School began awarding medals of this type in early 1910; this would explain the rarity of examples such as this which bear the portrait of Edward VII. The School is now called Sarojini Naidu Medical College.
Lord Inchiquin, 1646, a cast and chased gold medal by Abraham Simon, cuirassed bust left, with long hair, cravat and lace collar, rev. date and inscription in six lines, 16.91g, 35mm (Brady, SNC March 1989, p.41, no. 1; MI I, 324/161; Vertue p.26, pl.XV, fig c; Pinkerton p.67, no. 11, pl.XXIII). Very fine or better, with loop and ring for suspension; extremely rare, probably unique £10,000-£12,000

Wilson to Mr John Fletcher Shepherd, Octr 1844), hallmarked Charles Reily & George Storer, London, 1844, 51mm [6]. Very fine or better and rare, first glazed [the reverse lunette cracked], last with integral suspension loop; housed in a fitted contemporary or slightly later book-like case (originally for seven items) £200-£300

Contemporary (?) punch-mark on reverse, small bruise and minor marks on edge, otherwise about extremely fine, very rare £20,000-£30,000 --- A specific gravity test carried out on this coin revealed the metal content to be 99.5% gold and 0.4% silver. Many specimens of this coin show a similar test mark, often in the same position. Some show signs of this being tooled out or repaired
