MICHAEL JACKSON - a set of five proof tickets in lenticular 3D format set in a holographic ridged plastic panel. They were prepared by AEG for the last-ever tour by Michael Jackson, cancelled due his death. The tickets were designed by Michael himself with the promoters. Overall size is 9" x 20" (23x51cm). Condition is good, but with some slight scratching. Lot further includes a Billy Idol signed copy of Dancing With Myself and a sealed copy of Prince/Randee St. Nicholas's 21 Nights, a rare book-cd Indigo Nights live sessions published by Simon and Shuster.

TOM WAITS - There are 5 x long players here from the multi-talented American, widely regarded as one of the best songwriters of all time. All the items are in Ex+ condition and offer a chance to own some of his later works which are extremely rare to find on vinyl. These include original pressings of two of his albums form the 1990s: “Mule Variations” (6547-1) which comes with 2 records in a printed gatefold sleeve; and, “The Black Rider” (ILPS 8021/518 559-1) which comes with a printed inner. There is also an original German pressing of “Blue Valentine” (K53 088) in a gatefold sleeve with lyrics and reissues of “Frank’s Wild Years” (ST33) and “Swordfishtrombones” (ILPS 9762) which is a limited edition with a printed inner sleeve.

BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN- ‘The Boss’ is one of the greatest selling musicians of all time and this lot offers 6 x LPs with rare and deleted issues. The most valuable album is an Ex+ original pressing of the 1995 release “The Ghost of Tom Joad” (COL 4816 50-1) which comes in a printed inner with lyrics. There is also a highly distinctive picture disc release of “Nebraska” (CB25107 VG+). This original pressing does however come with two light surface marks. There is also a five LP collection with accompanying book covering his live performances – “Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band Live 1975-1985” (450 2271 Ex+/VG+). Rounding off this broad lot are: a like-new EU reissue of “Born To Run” (CBSH 80959); a second UK issue of “The Wild, the Innocent and the E Street Shuffle” (565780 Ex+/Ex); and, an original UK pressing of “Born in the USA” (CBS 86304).

SB 2090 - BERLIOZ - SYMPHONIE FANTASTIQUE/MONTEUX - A rare original edition recording of Symphonie Fantastique, a work Berlioz composed in 1830 for his future wife Henrietta Smithson - it is performed by Pierre Monteux conducting the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra (RCA red seal SB 2090). The record is in VG+ condition with a few light scuffs primarily on side 2, but nothing deeper at all. The vibrant sleeve is in Ex+ condition with only very slight wear.

JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE This lot is a highly collectable compilation from one of music's most famous names. This compilation is in exquisite condition (everything in Ex+ condition) and comprises of eight records housed in a lined purple velvet outer box. This limited editon is the first US pressing and includes 56 previously unreleased or unavailable recordings along with a full colour 40 page book with rare photos. The eight records are on 180 gram vinyl and have their own separate printed inners. "The Jimi Hendrix Experience" (088 112 316-1) is simply an amazing object in its own right and belongs in any music collection.

QUEEN AND RELATED - This lot of five albums features three by Queen and two by Bryan May. Everything is in Ex+ condition and offers a chance to bid on fantastic copies of works by some of the most cherished names in the music business. There is Queen's final album from 1995 "Made in Heaven" (PCSD 167) which is an original UK pressing. This album is a limited edition on ivory coloured vinyl in a gatefold sleeve with three posters and a postcard. There is also a numbered limited edition remastered 1995 reissue of "The Game" (MFSL 1-211) which is on heavy-weight 200 gram vinyl and the original UK pressing of the 1997 compilation "Queen Rocks" (823 0911). TASTE, RORY GALLAGHER AND GROUNDHOGS - This lot of seven 7" records comprises of works by Taste, solo work by their talented guitarist and frontman Rory Gallagher, and a promo mini-album by Groundhog. There are three Taste singles: "What's Going On" (2058 012, VG/VG, French, "Morning Sun" b-side); "What's Going On" (VG+/VG+, 2058 008, Italian, "Railway and Gun" b-side); and, "Born on the Wrong Side of Time" (NH 59598, Ex+/Ex, Italian, "Same Old Story" b-side). The Rory Gallagher 7"s include two limited edition clear vinyl records in Ex+ condition with a live release of "Wayward Child" (CHS 2453, "Keychain" b-side) and "Philby" (CHGS 2364, "Hellcat, and Country Mile" b-sides) and an Ex+ copy of "Big Guns" (CHS 2612, "The Deil Made Me Do It" b-side). The lot is rounded off by an extremely rare promo mini-album of The Groundhogs' "Groundhog's Split" (SP-49, VG+/VG+) This miniature album is a four track EP released as a promo for the album of the same name released in 1971 and comes in a gatefold cover with a printed inner sleeve with a biography of the band - a rare and unique part of the Groundhog's discography.

JIMI HENDRIX: JAPAN - Outstanding pack of five 7" Japanese releases from Jimi Hendrix. The condition is all generally Ex to Ex+. The records include: two copies of the"Purple Haze" single with the 1968 (DP-1559) and 1978 (DPQ 6912) releases, both with "51st Anniversary" as the b-side. Next is the 1968 "Purple Haze" EP (SKP-1145) with Purple Haze (A1), Hey Joe (A2), Foxy Lady (B1), and Burning of the Midnight Lamp (B2) as the track order. The "Changes/Message To Love" (DP 1752) single is an extremely rare release with Jimi's 'Band of Gypsys. Finally, the lot is rounded off a clear vinyl copy of "Angel/1983" which gives a demo version of Angel as the a-side. Overall, this lot offers a chance to own some extremely rare Jimi Hendrix releases, a must-have for any collector.

JIMI HENDRIX: CDs - In this lot there are thirteen CDs overall. However, there is more than meets the eye here with a wide range of promos and special editions - all in Ex+ condition. The rarest item is a Spanish limited edition of "Voodoo Child Live" (MCD 76083). Only 300 copies were ever produced to be given away when purchasing in selected Spanish record stores in 1997. The other promos and samplers include "All Along The Watchtower" (MCD 7064, Spanish 4 track sampler) "Box Set 8 Song Sampler" (MCAR 25121-2, sampler for 4CD box set);"Jimi Hendrix" (3 track sampler, MCAD 11684/11599/11602);"BBC Sessions Sampler" (MCA5P-4167, 9 track sampler);"Live at the Fillmore East" (MCA5P-4319, audio and video sampler); "Live at Woodstock" (MCA5P-4372, audio and video sampler, two copies); "Jimi Hendrix: Dolly Dagger/Night Bird Flying" (LC 1056, two track sampler); "8 Track Promo Sampler" (MCA Records); "Stepping Stone" (MCA5P-3357, one track sampler for Voodoo Soup); and, "South Saturn Delta" (SAM 111 CD, fifteen track sampler). To round off this rare and exciting lot is "Voodoo Child: The llustrated Legend of Jimi Hendrix" an illustrated book with a previously unreleased CD (BSP-VC1) of rare and unissued Jimi Hendrix recordings available nowhere else.

GUITAR LEGENDS: JAPAN - This lot consists of sixteen CDs, the majority (13) are Jimi Hendrix, with the remaining three titles belonging to the charismatic Irishman, Rory Gallagher. This lot gives the opportunity to own a musical tour de force of guitar brilliance on rare Japanese issues. Condition is generally Ex+ throughout with each CD cellophane wrapped. There are some extremely rare gems in this lot. JIMI HENDRIX: UK - This fantastic lot of thirteen items include eleven 7"s, a special edition 6" flexi-record, and a collector's edition pack of six 7" singles. The depth of this lot alone makes it attractive, but with everything in generally Ex/Ex+ condition it is simply not to be missed. Two of the 7"s were released on Polydor and are the single "Hey Joe" (56139) and the 7" compliment to "The Essential Jimi Hendrix" (JIMI1) which features "Gloria." There are nine 7" singles released through Track records and these are: "Purple Haze" (604001); "The Wind Cries Mary" (604004); "Burning of the Midnight Lamp" (604007); "All Along The Watchtower" (604025 - there are two copies of this, one with the label variation 'Stereo Playable Mono'); "Cross Town Traffic"; "Angel" (2094-007); "Voodoo Chile" (2095 001); and, "Gypsy Eyes" (2094 010). The rare 6" flexi-disc was released through 'Rolling Stone' Magazine and contains two tracks - Red House and Spanish Castle Magic. FInally, topping off the lot is the Polydor released "Six Singles Pack: Special Limited Edition" (260 8001). This fantastic compendium of releases includes Hey Joe, Purple Haze, The WInd Cries Mary, Burning of the Midnight Lamp, All Along The Watch Tower, and Voodoo Chile.

JIMI HENDRIX: 4 TRACKS - Here we have two 4-track releases from Hendrix. Both are in Ex+ condition and offer the chance to own some the guitar master's work on an extremely rare format. We have a copy of "Band of Gypsys" (M472) and "Rainbow Bridges" (RST 2040 C) - a compilation album pieced together posthumously after Jimi's death.

JIMI HENDRIX: MIXED WORLD CDs - This fine lot features eight separate releases combining compilations, live recordings, albums, and promotional releases from across the globe. This manages to offer an exhaustive array of Jimi's works as well as giving the collector an opportunity to get their hands on some extremely rare releases. Included in this lot we have: three still originally sealed (Ex+) promo samplers from MCA - "Live at the Fillmore East" (MCA5P-4319), "Live at Woodstock" (MCA5P-4372), and "Machine Gun" (MCA5P-4320); an Ex+ copy of the Australian issue of "Crash Landing" (847 263-2, remastered); "Live and Unreleased: The Radio Show" (HBCD 100, Ex+/Ex+ - French issue, three disc set, the only version of this release on CD); "Loose Ends" (837 574-2, Ex+/Ex+ - German issue of a posthumous collection of recordings, one of the very few versions of the release that was on CD); and two copies of the six CD set "The Complete PPX Studio Recordings" (the first is SPV 088-29802, still factory sealed (Ex+/Ex+), combined box set, the second is made of the individual CDs as each was released separately before the later box set SPV 085-44XXX, Ex+/Ex+).

JIMI HENDRIX: US PROMO 12"/LPs - This lot of three releases is a boon for any collector, with three highly exclusive promotional releases covering a wide range of Jimi's talents. First up there is "Sound Track Recordings from the film Jimi Hendrix" (2RS 6481, Ex/Ex, white label promo, original date stamp in corner). This is followed by "Medley: The Little Drummer Boy / Silent Night / Auld Lang Syne" (PRO-A-840, Ex+/Ex, promo release of impromptu Christmas themed jam with Billy Cox and Buddy Miles). The lot is rounded of by Reprise Records white label promo of "The Cry of Love" (MS 2034, Ex/VG+). Without a doubt, a fine and rare lot.

JIMI HENDRIX: KOREAN LPs - This intriguing lot covers some of Jimi's releases from Korea. There are four official releases ranging from VG+ to Ex+ and two private pressings from the Academy Record Company of Seoul of "The Cry Of Love" (no listed catalogue number, comes with Korean import stamp, VG/G+) and are "Are You Experienced" (SH-7008, Yegrin Record Company, VG+/VG+). The four official releases are in better condition and include the extraordinarily rare and high demand 1989 reissue of "Electric Ladyland" (2335 203, Ex+/Ex), "Band of Gypsys" (821 933-1), "Rainbow Bridge" (OLW-150 (P-8167R)), and "Live at Winterland" (834 044-1). This lot really does offer an exotic selection of Jimi Hendrix releases

JIMI HENDRIX: JAPANESE AND ISRAELI LPs - This lot contains three rare Japanese and two Israeli releases. It offers a great chance to own some extremely rare records that would take pride of place in any record collection. The Japanese releases include the original pressing of the 1971 release "Legacy" (MPZ 8113, Ex/VG+) and two 1980 reissues complete with Japanese language inserts: "Electric Ladyland" (MPX 9955/6, Ex+/Ex, two records); and, "Are You Experienced" (MPA 7004, Ex+/Ex). The two Israeli releases are extremely rare and don't often come up for sale. Both albums are the only Israeli versions of the release. The albums are "Isle of Wight" (2310 139, Ex/Ex) and "Band of Gypsys" (2406 002, Ex+/Ex, with the 'Puppet Sleeve').

JIMI HENDRIX - ELECTRIC LADYLAND - This version of Electric Ladyland is extremely rare and highly sought after - a must have for the discerning record collector! As with many releases from the time there are a wide variety of issues and pressings and sometimes it is difficult to know what release you have on your hands. Here, there is absolutely no doubt. This is the first press with the 'Version 1' gatefold sleeve with the rare, but easily identifiable, misprint blue text on the sleeve. It features the controversial 'nude women' cover with portraits of Hendrix and Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding on the inner cover. Overall the album cover and both records are in VG+ condition, the catalogue number is 613008. Widely regarded as his finest work, this version of this album is arguably the zenith of all Hendrix releases. With interest guaranteed make sure you place a bid!

RORY GALLAGHER AND ASSOCIATED: US RELEASES AND PROMOS - This fantastic selection of US releases from Rory Gallagher and his band Taste also contains three rare promo records. With studio releases combined with live recordings the Northern Irishman shows off his full array of guitar talent. Apart from the reissue of "Deuce" (CHR 1254, Ex+/Ex) all the records are original issues. The promos are a white-label copy of "Rory Gallagher" (SD 33-368, Ex/VG+), a white-label copy of "Blueprint" (PD 5522, Ex+/Ex) and a rare version of "Irish Tour '74" (PD2-9501, Ex+/VG+). The remaining three albums are "Blueprint" (PD 5522, Ex/Ex), "Live!" (PD 5513, Ex/Ex) and Taste's "Taste" (SD 33-269, Ex/Ex).

RORY GALLAGHER: UK AND GERMAN TEST PRESSING - The three albums on offer here include two original issue UK releases: "Rory Gallagher" (2283-044, Ex+/VG+); and, "Live! In Europe"(2383-112, Ex+/Ex). The real jewel in the crown of this lot though is the German test-pressing for the 1988 reissue of "Rory Gallagher". The catalogue number is INT 130.117 which is hand written on to the white label on both sides of the record. The label is written in German and indicates the vinyl is a test-pressing. It is in Ex+/Ex condition and offers the chance to own an amazingly rare piece of history - an indelible point in Rory Gallagher's discography.
