Irish Royal Tyrone Fusiliers Militia Victorian Field Officer waist belt clasp. Fine rare finely seeded gilt rectangular plate, with burnished rim, mounted with silver crown over flaming grenade resting with laurel sprays inscribed ROYAL TYRONE FUSILIERS. Fixed belt loop present, detachable belt loop now absent. GC Raised at Caledon 1783, redesignated Royal Tyrone Fusiliers in 1855, then 5th Bn.of Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers 1st July 1881, in May 1882 renumbered 4th, redesignated as 3rd Bn. on 12th July 1908 on transfer to Special Reserve, redesignated Militia in 1921. German Third Reich Luftschutz Decoration 1st Class. A good rare bright gilt example. Stylised cross, the obverse with large circlet FUR VERDIENST IM LUFTSHUTZ and central swastika; reverse arms with date 1938. It is thought only about 150 of these were awarded, mainly to senior officials. Instituted 30th January 1938. Designed by Egon Jantke of Berlin.
German Third Reich Afrika Korps M41 Officer Field Cap. Good rare ribbed cotton example bearing wire embroidered eagle and swastika as well as roundel. Aluminium wire braid round the edge of the crown and to top of faux curtain. A black sartouche indicates the Officer as belonging to an Engineer unit. Standard red cotton lining dated 1941 and with faint oval maker stamp. Some staining and service wear but generally GC.

German Third Reich Waffen SS breast badge. Fine rare silver aluminium wire embroidered SS Sigrunen on green cloth. Removed from tunic, minor service wear. Generally VGC Authorised in July 1943 for SS personnel serving in one of the Waffen-SS units who did not qualify to wear the SS runic collar patch.
Irish Royal Limerick County Militia Victorian glengarry badge circa 1874-75. Good rare short lived die-stamped white metal crowned Union sprays resting on ROYAL LIMERICK Co. scroll. Within the sprays, a circlet QUIS SEPARABIT MDCCLXXXIII; Maid of Erin Harp to voided centre. Two loops to reverse. VGC Raised 1793 at St. Francis Abbey, redesigned as Fusiliers 1st November 1875, became 5th Bn. Royal Munster Fusiliers 1st July 1881. Gordon Cummings Collection.
German Third Reich Government Officials dagger Eickhorn, Solingen circa 1939-42. A fine rare example with simulated mother of pearl grip and silver plated mounts. Eagle head ornamented pommel, crossguard and langet bearing an eagle and swastika facing same way as pommel. Plain polished double-edged blade etched with maker squirrel logo. Housed in its finely pebbled plated scabbard with fine oakleaf bands supporting both loose suspension rings. VGC Introduced in March 1939; production ceased in mid 1942.
German Third Reich NPEA Student Service dagger with frog by Karl Burgsmuller, Berlin. A fine rare example modelled on the SA dagger. The blade is etched with the motto Mehr sein als scheinef and bears maker details. Brown wooden grip with nickel crossguard PL62 and top guard engraved N.P.E.A.PLON -Ostern 1936; housed in its olive drab painted regulation scabbard which is complete with original brown leather frog. Minor service wear, generally VGC.

Housed in an early pattern brown leather scabbard with nickel rounded chape. Tailored with leather and nickel stud retaining strap and complete with four tangs. The overall condition is good clean bright, with minor age wear. Blade length 17.3 cm

Tom Beasley Fairbairn and Sykes Fighting knife Two Scroll Example. A rare example of the early post-war de luxe Fairbairn and Sykes fighting knife with orange ivorine handle made by Wilkinson Sword. The blade etched with two-part scroll on one side Hand forged by Tom Beasley The Famous Sword Smith; the other bears panel with Wilkinson logo and by Appointment Royal Arms; another inscribed Commando fighting Knife World War 1939-1945. Scabbard absent GC More common to find the three scroll tribute with the additional text of Stalingrad Sword Fame.

Medieval, Anglo-Saxon, A bronze strap end, mid-late 9th century, probably of East Anglian manufacture, with silver inlay panel of floral Trewhiddle style, consisting of a stem growing from a central bulb, attached to which are various calyxes, thick side shoots and bifurcating leaves all with speckled decoration inlaid with niello, zoomorphic terminal with moulded features and additional silver inlay, split-end with incised floral pattern on upper panel and both pins in situ, 4.8cm by 1.5cm (Thomas, class A, type 1xv, cf. no. 431). Area of damage to the bottom split plate around pin hole, and with the majority of the niello missing from the inlay pattern, otherwise very fine, dark green patina; rare £300-£400 --- Provenance: Found in Yorkshire
