A rare Chinese cinnabar lacquer vase stand, late Qing Dynasty/Republic, the near square lobed top carved with three dragons chasing a flaming pearl amid roiling clouds, supported on a waist decorated with cell and lappet borders, above a shaped apron and four tapering cabriole legs, all carved with conforming dragons chasing flaming pearls, terminating in a low base formed by four shaped stretchers, 89cm high, 46cm wide and 39 deep.Footnote: A pair of similar lacquer stands were sold at Christie's Paris, 21-22 June 2016, lot 127.

JULY - S/T - The monstrously rare eponymous LP from July, released on Major Minor in 1968 (MMLP 29). The record is in VG condition. There are some light surface markings, whilst this not a major feature to the playing surfaces, there is a very small light scratch at the end of track B5 into B6. Sharp and bright labels with some spindle wear. MATRIX: LP-029A-1B 'S.E.L' + LP-029B-1B '.S.E.L'. The front laminated sleeve is in VG condition. EDGAR BROUGHTON BAND - WASA WASA - Fantastic album here from The Edgar Broughton Band (SHVL 757) giving the rare tripartite of rarity, condition and quality! The record is a first pressing as evidenced by no EMI box on the label which does have 'sold in UK' and 'Gramophone Co.' on. Condition of the vinyl is a very strong Ex with only one visible surface mark on the B-Side. Other than this the record surface is immaculate. The labels are also in fine condition.
