Reel no 1: Colour 16mm safety cine film on ship 691 HM Yacht 'Britannia' containing footage of the launch of the ship on 16th April 1953, duration 12 mins approx. Believed to have been taken by the shipbuilder John Brown & Co, includes footage of the Queen and Prince Philip, a rare historic record of the event in colour. Reel no.2: Colour 16mm safety cine film on ship 691 H M Yacht 'Britannia' containing footage of 'Britannia' leaving the yard on 11th January 1954, duration approx 6 minutes.

Early 18th C. Rare, Large Chinese Porcelain Tankard Decorated with the traditional underglaze blue and over glaze iron red and gilding of floral sprays and elaborate crosshatch and fish spawn borders. Short restored hairline to rim plus two other short hairlines which do not affect the integrity of the vessel. With an old metal replacement handle. H. 15cm.
Exceptionally Rare 17th or early 18th C. Copy of a Chinese Kraak Design Dish With floral borders and panels. The underside with underglaze blue vines and a central encased cross mark. Three spur marks which separated the plate from the one below during firing. This dish was evidently made in Japan for the Chinese market and bears a later metal band around the rim and incised owners mark in the cavetto. Minor firing faults. Dia. 21cm.

Johns Capt.", bearing 1884-91 marginal 2½d. ultramarine added and cancelled "B31" at Freetown, Freetown c.d.s. (28.3) in red-brown tying the adhesive and with Paid Liverpool Br. Packet c.d.s. (18.4) at foot, Glasgow Sorting Tender (19.4) on reverse; the envelope (opened-out) with some creasing and soiling though a rare item of mail from the Tambi Expedition. S.G. 31. Photo Note: Between 1890 and 1892 bands of native warriors raided Upper Sands, a district near the Lima/Susu border. The enemy's headquarters were in the stockaded town of Tambi. Two successful punitive expeditions were repulsed. A stronger force of 500 troops of the West Indian Regiment was despatched from Freetown and reached Tambi on 7 April.
