Used to configure the colour settings for BBC cameras for both studio and outside broadcast use. Printed on board, the test card features a young lady with blue eyes and brown hair. A rare and unique vintage 1960's autograph book - originally belonging to an employee of The Bristol Old Vic - Jane Heaven - in the mid-late 1960's. Of note within the book is the cast of ' The Happiest Days Of Our Lives ' in 1965-66 which featured a young Jane Asher, whose boyfriend at the time was Beatles member Paul McCartney. Loose within the album is an 'unseen' photograph of Asher and McCartney, believed to have been taken backstage - either by the autograph book owner, or a fellow member of staff. The black and white silver gelatine photograph on Agfa paper depicts McCartney to centre (holding a dog), Asher to his right and a member of staff to his left. The photograph measures approx; 4x5". Autographs within the book include; Peter O'Toole, Sian Phillips, Patrick Stewart, Hazel Hughes, Wendy Craig, Jane Asher (as well as a signed photograph), Margaret Lamb, Stanley Bates, Jane Lapotaire, Acker Bilk, Terrence Hardiman, Josephine Shore, and others.A rare and interesting unique part of Bristol / Theatre history.

Lot 250

Only Fools & Horses - an incredibly rare original production script from Only Fools & Horses dated 30.9.96 for the episode ' Heroes And Villains ' (the famous ' Batman & Robin ' episode). The script, owned by the late actor Roger Lloyd-Pack (Trigger) has been signed to the front in black pen by the actor, and comes with a signed photograph of Lloyd-Pack. The script is in very good used condition, with additional ' Story ' update pages in pink. 'Heroes & Villains' is perhaps the most famous episode of the entire series of Only Fools & Horses which ran from 1981 1996 and was brought back in 2003 for a series of specials. The episode is notable for two things, the first being what is often called the 'greatest comedy moment in history' when Del & Rodney are seen running down an alley whilst dressed as Batman and Robin respectively, but secondly because of Trigger (played by Lloyd-Pack) and him being awarded a medal for services to road sweeping, which included the classic exchange between him and Sid which went: Trigger: '....This old broom's had seventeen new heads and fourteen new handles in its time'Sid. 'Well how the hell can it be the same bloody broom then!!'An iconic episode of the series, and one of Britain's best loved comedy moments. A unique and important part of British comedy history.Provenance: This script was donated to a charity auction for the Camden New Journal some years ago and purchased by our vendor (who worked for the newspaper at the time) The vendor has supplied a small typed note with details as to how it was acquired

A rare opportunity to own two vintage ex-BBC (and ex- Longleat Doctor Who Exhibition) VFX makeup moulds from the Colin Baker era of Dr Who. The large plaster moulds are final stage moulds, used for casting latex makeup appliances / full face appliances. One appears to be of Colin Baker himself, and the other also possibly Baker, or another character. The moulds themselves are constructed of plaster, with some clay / putty touch ups to areas. These were removed from the Doctor Who Exhibition at Longleat when it closed several years ago.  NOTE: Due to the fragile nature of the items, we strongly recommend that these are delivered by courier, or collected in person. Margot Fonteyn (1919-1991) - English Ballerina - an incredibly rare pair of ballet shoes worn by Fonteyn during her time with Swan Lake in 1968. The shoes - a pair of Frederick Freed Ltd ballet shoes in pink - come within their original issue box which is addressed to ' Miss Fonteyn, The Royal Ballet, Covent Garden, London ' and has ' Swan Lake ' written to top. Both shoes are marked ' Fonteyn ' to bottom, and one again marked ' Swan Lake ' in her hand. Fonteyn has autographed both shoes to the toe and dated them '1968'. Both in used, but generally good, condition. Rare in that they can be tied to a specific performance, and notable as her appearances in Swan Lake that year were very limited (Fonteyn's appearances occurred on 12 February, 14 February, 25 March, and 8 April 1968). Rare and important pair of Ballet shoes.

Donald Pleasence - (1919-1995) English Actor - best known for his roles in 'Halloween' and 'James Bond' as Blofeld - personally owned and worn neck tie. The tie, being a rare Walt Disney executive tie was likely gifted to Pleasence whilst working on one of the few Disney films in which he featured. The tie comes with a handwritten note which reads ' This is a Walt Disney Executive tie, give to me by a Walt Disney Executive. I have signed my name on the lining, Donald Pleasence '. Rare.

Jimi Hendrix (1942-1970) - American rock guitarist and singer / songwriter - incredible original hand signed autograph in a period autograph album. Signed in blue biro ' Love Jimi Hendrix ' with a laid-in photograph on the opposite page. The rest of the album is filled with notes from the original owners' friends etc - no other celebrity autographs present. Interestingly the final page in the album appears to be where Hendrix first attempted to sign, but was scuppered by a poor pen - the word ' Love ' is legible, and the first letter 'J' can be seen indented. Interesting autograph album. Rare. With certification from Tracks Ltd, and a copy of the letter from the original owner which states this autograph was obtained on the afternoon of May 2nd, 1970 in Madison, Wisconsin.

In a career that began in 1928, Tom McKimson's work spanned seven decades and was involved with Animation Studios including Disney, Romer Grey and Warner Bros. He also did freelance work for various studios and created comic book art....'. With certificate. Framed and glazed to a total size of: 45cm x 50cm. Rare.

John Lawrence - Watership Down - rare original watercolour illustration. Original painting in watercolour and ink. Depicting the main protagonists running through a field towards the farm. Signed in the lower corner by Lawrence. A charming and rare original book illustration painting. Framed. Total size approx; 29cm x 31cm. Watership Down is a survival and adventure novel by English author Richard Adams, published by Rex Collings Ltd of London in 1972 with illustrations by John Lawrence. Set in southern England, around Hampshire, the story features a small group of rabbits. Although they live in their natural wild environment, with burrows, they are anthropomorphised, possessing their own culture, language, proverbs, poetry, and mythology. Evoking epic themes, the novel follows the rabbits as they escape the destruction of their warren and seek a place to establish a new home (the hill of Watership Down), encountering perils and temptations along the way.
