A rare tinplate ‘Joey’ gold monoplane with Burnett RAF roundels, 1925, gold painted monoplane with flat pilot, propeller and paper RAF roundels to top wings with Burnett trademark, body with engraved THE ‘JOEY’ REGISTERED, 14” (35.5cm) long, fair condition. Not: Burnett Ltd to over the ‘Joey’ Aeroplanes from R.Joseph & Co in 1925, there was no change to the toy except for the added RAF roundels.

Rare Omega automatic Seamaster calendar wristwatch date code for 1952. Yellow metal bezel on a stainless steel case. Date aperture at 6pm Currently ticking and keeping good time over a long testing period. Case in all round good condition, glass has minor scratches consistent with age. Replacement strap Nice clean movement.
PONTILLED MEDICINE BOTTLE. 6.5ins tall, pale olive green glass. Octagonal section, short neck with applied lip with numbered graduated marks to one panel - 1 to 6. Cross hinged pontilled base. Extremely rare & just another stunner of its type. Delightful colour swirl in glass. Very good. (9/10) NR

A very striking, early (Pratt/ J Austin type - but not marked as such) lid bearing just 2 words POTTED/ BEEF above & below a very large detailed cow pictorial in a field/ trees etc. 11 to 5 o clock flange & corner edge restoration but a truly stunning & extremely rare pictorial pot lid. MACKINLAYS V.O.B./ SCOTCH WHISKY to one side CHARLES MACKINLAY/ & CO/ DISTILLERS/ LEITH SCOTLAND to the other. Buchan p.m. Slight glaze wear to pouring lip but an extremely rare coloured top jug. No ounceage capacity - 2oz? Small bottom of lip flake professionally ground but overall bottle condition is very good. A rare early patent bottle. (8/10) NR

The familiar detailed large safe pictorial to front, all heavily embossed. There is a raised N within a circle to base. Fresh out of the ground! See BBR 153 for the recent story of its dig.
