Rare Officers Glengarry Badge 10th Blackmoor Vale Corps Circa 1887, blackened brass glengarry badge of crowned garter strap with scroll between having BLACKMOOR VALE, bottom section of the garter strap having DORSET. Centre of the badge shows a white metal stag. Reverse of the badge is a silver dish plate with pin and catch fixing.
Rare Dorsetshire Regiment Officers Post 1902 Standard Bearers Cross Belt Plate of fine quality gilded laurel wreath with garter and black velvet centre having silvered Gibraltar castle. Lower section of the plate has three part silvered scroll with regimental details. Reverse of the plate has two blade fittings. Colin Churchill states only two known examples of this belt plate exist.
Rare Victorian Officers Forage Cap Badge of the West Kent Light Infantry Militia, Victorian crown above red felt garter belt with bullion embroidered INVICTA within. Centre of the badge has rearing Kent horse in bullion. Reverse of the badge has the original paper backing and manufactures paper label, C SMITH & SON GOLD LACEMAN TO HER MAJESTY H.R.H THE PRINCE OF WALES 5 NEW BURLINGTON ST. Some dulling to the bullion work but overall still in good condition. ** Churchill’s collection notes state that this badge was purchased from Sotherby’s Auction house in the 1970’s – Sale 932 lot 332.
Rare Royal Naval Division Collingwood Brass Shoulder Title complete with the original two lug fittings on the reverse. Remains in very good overall condition. ** This unit suffered such heavy casualties during the Gallipoli campaign it was disbanded in 1915 before a cap badge was issued to the unit.
Very Rare 16th Brigade Group Cloth Formation Sign Circa 1946-47, bullion embroidered XVI onto navy blue felt shield with sky blue embroidered border. This unit was raised in India after the surrender of the Japanese in 1945, they were disbanded in October / November 1947. Very few formation signs were made or issued.
Rare Unofficial Cloth Formation Sign of the Commando Basic Training Depot Achnacarry, the insignia is constructed from embroidered on to silk cloth. Formation sign shows Achnacarry castle on rocky ground within a circle. Insignia is mounted onto a battle dress backing material along with a bullion COMMANDO shoulder title. Insignia shows some wear. ** Vendor states in his collection notes that this was worn by Officers and Senior NCO’s at the training depot.
Rare Japanese Army Pilots Photograph Album compiled by a Japanese army pilot called Komatsuzaki of the Hamamatsu Bomber Squadron. The album consists of snap shots and formal pictures of high ranking Japanese generals, comrades, group photographs, pilots in flight gear uniforms, planes in flight and on the ground, crashed aircraft etc. Some pages are numbered and a typed description of the page is included with the album. A very interesting and scarce album. Japanese aviation albums seldom appear on the collectors market. (92 photographs)
Rare Queens Own Oxfordshire Hussars Officers Hallmarked Silver Pouch and Cross Belt, the pouch has clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1907. Centre is fitted with gilt regimental cipher badge. Pouch is fitted on its original cross belt strap with flat wire bullion decoration. The fittings on the belt have London hallmarks. The prickers and chains all have clear hallmarks for London 1901. Belt is backed with black leather. Set remains in very good condition.
Rare British Airborne Forces Fibre Rim Paratroopers Combat Helmet, the helmet exterior retains much of the original paint finish with some rusting towards the top of the shell. Leather straps and chin cup. Leather sweatband has clear stamping BMB 1942 and size marked 7 3/8. Early yellow sorbo padding to the liner. The helmet shows expected service wear. These early fibre rim helmets were the examples worn by British paratroopers at Arnhem.

Rare Polish Officers Legion in the Middle East Breast Badge, multi piece construction badge with enamel black cross, green enamel crescent moon with dates 1940 and 1941. Polish eagle to the centre of the badge. Badge has the original screw post fitting on the reverse. Dish has Cairo Egypt makers mark. Badge remains in good condition.

THE LITHOGRAPHS OF PENCIL DRAWINGS BY BELL WOULD APPEAR TO BE EXTREMELY RARE AND WERE PRESUMABLY PRINTED IN THE COLONY. CHARLES DAVIDSON BELL WAS THE FIRST SURVEYOR GENERAL IN THE CAPE COLONY AND AN ACCOMPLISHED ARTIST, WHO DESIGNED BY THE FAMOUS TRIANGULAR CAPE OF GOOD HOPE POSTAGE STAMPS. HE MARRIED, AS HIS FIRST WIFE, ON 3RD JUNE 1841 MARTHA ANTOINETTE EBDEN BY WHOM HE HAD THREE CHILDREN BEFORE DIVORCING HER IN 1850 ON THE GROUNDS OF HER ADULTERY WITH DR LESTOCK WILSON STEWART.
A 1930's vintage Coronet "Midget" sub-miniature bakelite camera in rare mottled blue finish and complete with original leather case. CONDITION REPORT There is some wear to the chrome faceplate but otherwise the camera is in excellent cosmetic condition. The shutter mechanism is working. The case is complete but shows signs of wear to the front flap.
A rare Italian 1953 Kristall R rangefinder camera fitted with a Travenon 35mm f3.5 lens. Also a 105mm f3.5 Trinol Anastigmat lens, Leitz VIDOM adjustable viewfinder, a further frame type viewfinder, Leitz FILCA cassette and a boxed Leitz FISON lens hood (6). CONDITION REPORT Body serial number 20304 is in good condition with slight marking to the bottom plate and back. The shutter/wind-on mechanism is working. The flash shoe has become detached but is included. The 35mm lens is clear but the diaphragm is not working at present. The 105mm has marks around the filter ring.

Two rare Yorkshire ceramic 'cottage' money boxes, mid - late 19th century, the first in the form of a high-pitched roof cottage impressed 'T.Swann' and highlighted in cobalt blue, modelled with steps, garden seats and a front garden wall, 16.5cm., losses, the second cottage with leaded windows picked out in blue and red / brown enamel and incised to the reverse 'James Neilson August 21st 1884', 15.5cm, latter repaired
