The first Beatles Long playing record and it is very rare to find a stereo version as this dates from 1963 when nearly everyone had mono record players. In order to get a stereo version those members of the public lucky enough to have a stereogram would most probably have had to order a stereo record by special order through their local record dealer as it was never usually a stock item in 1963. This record has been extremely well looked after and is the catalogue number PCS 3042 "Please Please Me" with the elusive black and gold Parlophone stereo label. The sleeve was printed and made by Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd. London and the Emitex original inner sleeve is included too. This very rare find is for a record in excellent condition with a few light surface marks, the inner sleeve in excellent condition and the outer album sleeve with a little wear to the sleeve corners and the bottom edge with a few marks on the back. A piece of Music history for the Beatles and for the stereo record industry (1)
