London & North Western Railway 8in mahogany cased railway clock with a wire driven English fusee movement. Th original dial is lightly restored and lettered L & N.W.R. JNo WALKER 77 CORNHILL & 230 REGENT ST LONDON. The case is in original condition with the LNWR enamel numberplate 2975 secured to the right hand side. It still retains its original bezel. A rare clock in working condition complete with pendulum and key. A letter from Dr D.R. Parr confirms that this clock was recorded in the 1960's LM clock census as being in use at Tamworth goods office.

A Rare Second World War German Luftwaffe Aviators Wristwatch, signed Laco, so called B-Uhr, circa 1941, frosted gilt finished lever movement signed Laco and numbered 05095, bimetallic balance with blued overcoil hairspring, black dial with luminous outer five minute markers and inner hour dial, luminous hands, large centre seconds hand, large sized nickel plated case with snap-on back numbered H5095, band of the case numbered FL 23883, inner case back with full details and matching number, onion shaped winding crown, 55mm wide see illustration The German Air Ministry recognised the need for an accurate observer's watch to navigate and assist crews on long range flying missions. The watches are known as B-Uhrs (Beobachtungsuhr or observer's watch). They were tested by the Deutsche Versuchsanstalt fur Luftfahrt DVL Institute. From 1941 onwards they were classified with an FL number which stands for flight and control, the 23 stands for navigation and followed by the three digit DVL number.12.10.18, Case with surface scratches and minor rubbing in parts to the nickel plated surface, case is dirty in parts, half of the strap is missing, plexi glass with scratches, dial has the original finish, hands are slightly stained, movement plates with small scratches, wheels with staining marks, hand setting correctly and winding smoothly, movement in going order.

Veramin Carpet Central Iran, circa 1930 The brick red field of MIna Khani design enclosed by ivory borders of samovar motifs and meandering vines flanked by indigo guard stripe, 310cm by 220cm Vermin weavings are comparatively rare. They are closely knotted and use excellent dyes. . Ends complete. Selvedges replaced and with some losses to binding cords and some folding. Pile close clipped, generally good but small areas of light wear in outer plain guard stripes to the side and one or two tiny spots of light wear.

A rare and fine late 18th century Chinese export hand painted silk bed hanging, the florally decorated ivory tabby painted in a poly chrome palette depicting floral sprays of peonies, tulips, blossoms and further flowers, made up of six sections, the longest, pelmet section 295cm W x 33cm H, the headboard section, being split into three parts, the largest 154cm W x 70cm H (the top of this section has been cut when it has been framed), the smaller side sections which have been cut measure, both 36cm W x 74cm H, with two further hand painted silk sections, both 37cm W x 74cm H CONDITION REPORT: All of the panels have quite entensive wear to the green sections and are splitting, the paint on all of the silk panels shows fold lines from the piece being rolled previously so is starting to crack, the bottom edge of the longest panel looks to have been cut and is fraying, the wider middle panel has had the top and bottom sections cut when it has previously been mounted, the mounting has left small holes around the edge of this panel (see images), the end sections of this panel have been cut off with the edges fraying, the two further panels showing paint wear, all of the silk panels are grubby and show some signs of staining, please see images for further information, all of the pieces mentioned are individually photographed
