Memorabilia - Original Sex Pistols Never Mind The Bans 1977 tour poster. An extremely rare poster for the iconic punk band's cancelled gig at the Bamboo Club in Bristol. The venue was burned down on December 18th three days before the scheduled show. Poster was acquired by the vendor at the time of the gig and was taken from where it was displayed to promote the show. Poster has folds, some tears, losses, tape residue and discolouration. A rare Shanghai Municipal Council bronze medal, China. Inscribed to verso 'For Services Rendered, August 12 To November 12, 1937, 4.5 x 4cm. Maurice Jenkins (1933-2022). North Cornwall collector. Maurice was a lifetime collector and started in the 1950s. He opened a shop in Liskeard in the 1970s called Canon Hill Antiques. He visited a number of Middle Eastern countries in his lifetime including Egypt in the late 1970's when his interest in Islamic and Asian antiques began. He was a man with an eye for quality and a love of antiques, history and travel who purchased privately and at auction over the decades. Over a lifetime of purchasing privately and at auction, he created an eclectic ensemble of collections reflecting his interests. He died a few weeks before his 90th birthday and was still buying until that time.

A rare 1929 Martin 00028 acoustic guitar, serial number 39957, with twelfth fret neck, slotted headstock, Brazilian rosewood two piece back and ribs, Adirondack spruce top and mahogany neck with ebony fretboard and bridge, zig-zag back stripe and herringbone trim, ivorine binding, Serial number stamped to neck block, stamped to back of headstock and internal lining 'C.F.Martin & Co, Nazareth. P.A.' nut width 1 15/16th inches, lower bout 15 inches.

Disney Donald Duck vintage doll, designed by Charlotte Clark, American, 1930s, in a rare larger 16" size, with applied oilcloth pie eyes, stitched eyebrows and mouth, nostril stitching has been lost (evidence of original stitch holes to beak), velveteen body, cotton sateen beak, cotton cloth legs, corduroy cap and jacket, black bow tie, four mother-of-pearl breast buttons, velveteen tail feathers (comprising three plush loops), large flat felt soled feet, discolouration to body overall, blue corduroy has faded, Good to Good Plus, 16"/40cm. NB: Body has been inscribed neatly above tail feathers: "GREETINGS TO MRS. McCORMACK WALT DISNEY". There Is NO PROVENANCE or any history as to the origin of this item (there is no label or stamp to the foot). Charlotte Clark was the American seamstress who designed the first Mickey Mouse doll in early 1930. Charlotte continued initially to produce hand-made dolls for Disney which were often given as gifts to friends and family; she also produced prototype dolls that measured 16"/41cm.
