Pair of rare Carl Zeiss DF 4 x 20 Porro II Kriegsmarine binoculars, No. 1761179, Nazi eagle with M below and numbered 49, right ocular with graticule, original leather case with conforming numbers and original eye cups There is a very small area of Bakelite approx. 9mm x 7mm missing on the left ocular, this is quite visible in the images, there is some wear to the blackening so the brass shows through in a couple of areas, lenses are clear, generally in very nice all round condition other than these minor faults, the case has had a subsequent owners name scratched into the top although this is very faint and would probably polish out quite easily, other than this it is firm, the stitching is good and would just need polishing if required - General condition consistent with age **
