PERNOD TARRAGONA ABSINTHE1920'S-1930'S A fantastic older bottle of the Pernod Fils Couvet Suisse Extrait D'Absinthe. Bottled at the Tarragona Distillery in Spain after the burning of the French Distillery. A very dark coloured example of this rare bottle. Foil and tax seal both in excellent condition. Level top shoulder. 1 bottle.
Wiltshire Yeomanry Cavalry token, County Series, Markes Lambe Lutwyche’s Halfpenny 1794. Obverse cavalryman galloping left, with raised sword, legend “Wiltshire Yeomanry Cavalry”, date 1794 in exergue. Reverse: three cavalrymen riding left, the nearer carrying Union flag, legend “Their Token”, “P.A.T.F”, grained edge. Probably nearly as struck, dark toned. A rare item Plate 3
An interesting AE Bengal Presidency recruiting token, diameter 19mm (roughly farthing size). Obverse: mounted artilleryman left, brandishing his sabre in a business like manner, legend “Horse Artillery”. Reverse legend around the rim “Wanted for the East Indies” with the field legend “Apply/ at No 35 / Soho Square/ London” grained edge. EF (the reverse field shows signs of die corrosion). A rare item.

Obverse bust right with legend “Carolus Walliae Princeps 1745”; reverse Britannia surveying fleet, legend “Amor et Spes”, now fitted with a ring suspender, (Eimer 595, MI 251), diameter 41mm, VF (minor obverse scratches) and rare. Plate 2 Note: Struck in 1745, Prince Charles caused insult to the French ministry when he circulated these medals in 1748 whilst peace negotiations were taking place between the two countries.

A rare early Bow toy ware coffee cup of conical form and with plain loop handle. Painted in underglaze blue with a two storey structure, rocks and bamboo shoots c1750-55, 4.5cm. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Some pitting but free from chips, cracks and repair. Rich glaze with no obvious scratches or wear.
