Pre WWI jockey racing silks, breeches and leather riding boots signed by Steve Donoghue 10x Champion Flat Racing Jockey from 1914 -1923 -the set comprises Dark blue with silver sash jacket with button up front, white breeches and a pair of lightweight black leather boots with dark mahogany tops and leather horse shoe heels (worn) but complete -signed in pencil to the white sash "Steve Donoghue". A rare once in a life time opportunity to acquire a unique piece of horse racing memorabilia. The items come c/w a letter of provenance from a direct member of the family whose descendent was personally given the items by Steve Donoghue. Steve Donoghue (b.1884 -1945) was a leading English flat-race jockey in the 1910s and 1920s. He was Champion Jockey 10 times between 1914 and 1923 and was one of the most celebrated horse racing sportsmen after Fred Archer, arguably only Sir Gordon Richards eclipsing him. His greatest triumphs came in the Epsom Derby which he won six times incl 3x consecutive wins in 1921, `22 & `23 - on Humorist (1921), Captain Cuttle (1922) and Papyrus (1923) - was the high point. In 1915 and 1917, he rode the horses Pommern and Gay Crusader to the English Triple Crown and in its more than two-hundred-year history, Steve Donoghue is the only one to have ever won the Triple Crown twice.
1978/79 England cricket tour blazer to Australia - worn by Ian Botham - light blue blazer with white embroidered St George and The Dragon crest and embroidered below "1978 Australia 1979" comes with Ian Botham name label sewn into the collar and a signed TCCB publicity card - England won the six test match series 5- 1- the first time that England had won back to back series. Botham finished his Test career with 5,200 runs at an average of 33.54, taking 383 wickets at an average of 28.40, and holding 120 catches. He is generally recognized as one of England`s greatest Test players and will be remembered together with Bob Willis for 1976 Headingly Test match against the Australians. He was also England`s captain for 12 Tests in 1980 and 1981. Hence this is a rare opportunity to acquire an England blazer worn by the one of the outstanding and charismatic England players of all time

Rare 1935/36 New Zealand v England rugby tour dinner menu signed by Prince Obolenksy: held after the match at Twickenham on 4th Jan at The Hotel Metropole London in Honour of the New Zealand Team -profusely signed in pencil by members of each team and guests to the front and back cover, and to the inside -to incl Prince Obolenksy ( twice, once on the cover and again on the inside) both Captains B C Gadney(Eng) and J E Manchester (NZ) plus 1906 Springbok Paul Roos(Guest Speaker) plus Peter Cranmer, P Candler, C Stoop, and many more. Prince Obolenksy scored 2 tries (one quite remarkable from his own 25yd line) on his debut in a 13 -0 victory over the All Blacks -helping England to their first ever victory over New Zealand

Their flamboyant style of unorthodox attacking rugby attracted huge crowds -drawing the tests with Australia -before leaving for New Zealand - France played 28 matches during the three-month tour, winning 21 matches, drawing twice and losing just five times
Rare 1950/51 England International Goalkeepers Pullover: original yellow woollen polo neck pullover with England Crest sewn onto the chest and embroidered "Yugoslavia 1950 -51" worn by Bert Williams in his 13th International -the match was played at Arsenal Stadium Highbury on Wednesday 22nd November 1950 which ended in 2-2 draw. The pullover still has mud and other signs of wear from the match -Needless to say Goal keepers shirts vary seldom come onto the market.
