Gauge 1, a rare three-rail stud-contact electric L.M.S. Suburban three-car Euston-Watford multiple unit set, including 3rd Class motor unit; 3rd Class trailer; and 1st-3rd Class centre coach, all painted in L.M.S. crimson-lake, lined in straw, with exterior and interior details, 722 in (184 cm) long overall, some roof damage to Watford trailer car, otherwise in excellent condition. An important and rare Kashmir sapphire, sapphire and diamond necklace, circa 1885, adaptable as brooches and formed from eight graduated oval 'target' clusters with sapphire and diamond five stone saltire-shaped inter-links, the oval clasp flanked by further pairs of saltires, each oval cluster centred with a cushion-shaped sapphire within two old-cut diamond graduated borders, each silver and gold mounted cluster with two suspension loops and with screw apertures, and with five removable screw-in brooch fittings, the diamonds estimated to weigh approx. 37cts in total, in a fitted case. The sapphires with London Precious Stone Laboratory, Gem Identification Report Number 974458 giving the colour, shape, dimensions and weights of the 8 largest sapphires, summarised as follows; 1. a blue, slightly tapered cushion-shaped, mixed cut stone, 6.98 carats; 2. a blue, cushion-shaped, mixed cut stone, 7.88 carats; 3. a blue, cushion-shaped, mixed cut stone, 6.89 carats; 4. a blue, cushion-shaped, mixed cut stone, 6.62 carats; 5. a blue, cushion-shaped, mixed cut stone, 4.67 carats; 6. a blue, tapered cushion-shaped, mixed cut stone, 2.47 carats; 7. a blue, cushion-shaped, mixed cut stone, 2.19 carats; 8. a blue, oval, mixed cut stone, 1.28 carats. All were found to be natural sapphires. No evidence of heat treatment was detected. For the 6 largest stones (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 ): The origin is Kashmir. For the two smallest stones (7 and 8): These sapphires have a basaltic source. The sapphires in the centre of the saltires not certificated.
A Rare Wedgwood mug, made to commemorate the opening of a new electrically fired tunnel oven at Barlaston and from the first firing Biscuit & Glost, Summer 1940, the shape is by Keith Murray and decorative elements designed by Victor Skellern printed in puce and showing the pottery complex on the reverse, 12cm. high, commemorative details as backstamp on base.

Zanzibar Protectorate, under British administration, Sheha's (or Headmen's) badges of office (2), the silver example for Mwera District and the bronze for Chake-Chake, both 57mm., obv. sultan's toughra within ZANZIBAR GOVERNMENT, each fitted with riveted suspension loop and with original 24in. chain for neck wear in appropriate metal, sometime polished and the silver medal with some light edge bruising, otherwise very fine or better and extremely rare; together with a fine signed portrait photograph of His Highness Seyyid Khalifa bin Harub who reigned as Sultan of Zanzibar from 1911 until circa 1960 (3).

A rare Meissen figure of a Hun on horseback, circa 1900, modelled by E.Hosel, leaning forward to look at a skull and spear tip on the ground, a quiver and shield slung over his back, the horse above a support of reeds, the edge of the base moulded with foliate panels, crossed swords in underglaze-blue, incised model number Q.197, impressed 148, 31cm., 12.25in., some restoration to horse's ears, his left foot, arrow feathers and tip of horse's tail.
