ELVIS PRESLEY PERSONAL AND LAST BEDSIDE BIBLE. A stunning item here with great provenance. This 'World Publishing Company' Bible was once the personal bedside copy of Elvis Presley, gifted to him by a devout fan in 1957. Item is sold her with original personalised embossed brown leather case, three page letter and photo form the fan 'Marcia Brown' to Elvis dated 1957 and also a fantastically detailed letter of providence and signed from vendor Benny Vejlby of EPM/RRM. An abridged version of the provenance details how the vendor, upon one of many visits to Graceland accompanied by Delta Maye Presley (with whom he had become acquainted) he was gifted the bible after coming across it on a rare visit to the hallowed second floor of Graceland in 1983 (photo of that trip to Graceland is included).
BEATLES FRENCH POSTER. A portion of an original poster, advertising the Nice concert on the 1965 European tour. Originally to measure 40 x 20.5", this example is missing a large part of the upper left hand side as detailed in pictures. Nonetheless, this is still a supremely rare piece of Beatles memorabilia and one that isn't likely to come up again too soon.
DAVID BOWIE AND THE LOWER THIRD TICKET. An original and rare card backed invite from 1966, for a performance with David Bowie and the Lower Third at the Victoria Tavern, Hyde Park London on Thursday January 6th. 19 x 13 cm. Sold at Christie's Pop Culture sale on 26th June 2013 as part of lot 206.
BOWIE & THE LOWER THIRD PROMO. An original and rare press book for David Bowie and the Lower Third promoting the first single released under the name David Bowie, Can't Help Thinkin' About Me, 1966, in which the 19 year-old David Jones explains why he has adopted the stage name David Bowie. Measures 20 x 25cm. Sold at Christie's Punk/Rock sale on 24th November 2008 (lot 1).
SEX PISTOLS FREE TRADE HALL MANCHESTER TICKET. Incredibly rare ticket stub for their fabled performance at Manchester's Free Trade Hall on the 4th June 1976. Reportedly only 42 people attended which included the elite of Manchester's future music scene (Joy Division, Morrissey, Buzzcocks, Tony Wilson, Mick Hucknall). The tickets for the gig were printed on the back of a ''NOISE'' flyer (designed by Jon Maunder) with an example of the front and back of a complete ticket on display at https://www.joydiv.org/scrapbook.htm. This is the right hand side of the ticket that would have been torn off on entry. The stub is ink stamped with ''F.T.H.'' and the date payment was made (29 May 1976) - it also has the gig and price paid handwritten - in this case ''Sex Pistols 50p."
PRIMAL SCREAM RARE VHS - LIVE FROM EDINBURGH 1985. A super piece of history here, consigned by Joogs himself (Martin St. John AKA John Martin.) The item in question is a possibly unique VHS tape featuring footage shot by renowned artist Jim Lambie at gigs circa 1980s, interspersed with footage from 60s/70s/80s. Of most interest here surely are the recordings made at Edinburgh's Hoochie Koochie club, of Primal Scream (I Love You, I Want You, Aftermath, Imperial, Tomorrow Ends Today, Crystal Crescent), Jasmine Minks, Weather Prophets, The Shop Assistants and others as well as crowd footage from Glasgow's Splash club. We say it's likely unique as detailed in a handwritten letter of provenance (sold with the lot, from John Martin) is news that artist Jim Lambie has lost all other recordings.

Features 5 pages with printed lyrics to Hand In Glove, Handsome Devil, These Things Take Time (with handwritten amendments in pencil), What Difference Does it Make, Jeane, The Hand That Rocks The Cradle, Suffer Little Children and Miserable Lie. Glad Hips Inc and the office address is listed on last page. Condition is excellent, with minor evidence of rust to staples. Measures approx A4 size.

DAVID BOWIE - YASSASSIN 7" (TURKISH P/S 79 014). Super rare and very clean Turkish picture sleeve 7" from Bowie (RCA 79 014). The record is in Ex+ condition showing just a couple of extremely faint light and wispy scuff markings. The original picture sleeve is in VG+ condition showing some ringwear, there are no rips or tears to mention.
A rare Chiltern Skater teddy bear, From the Cotswold Teddy Bear Museum, with golden artificial silk plush, replaced black plastic eyes, black stitched nose and mouth, pink and white wool plush high collared coat, hat and muff, fixed joints standing on card lined felt pads —15in. (38cm.) high (some wear and bald spots, missing belt); this bear was lot 435 in Bonham’s auction of the museum in March 1995 and comes with a copy of the catalogue and his original lot tag
A rare and unusual Farnell teddy bear 1910-1920s, With blonde mohair, flat black boot button eyes, pronounced muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth, webbed hand claws and feet claws, swivel head, jointed limbs with unusual leather caps to the joint area of each arm, felt pads, hump and inoperative growler —14in. (35.5cm.) high (fairly worn, discolouring to face, three pads replace, one hand pad patched) - this bear is a mystery, his heavy duty leather joints must be for a specific reason, one theory, they help his arms move very freely and would not wear out, so perhaps he was attached to something moving for a constant display or perhaps a puppet?
A very early and rare German bear on wheels probably Steiff, With black burlap plush, black boot button eyes, pink or white stitched mouth, remain of ears with pink felt lining, inoperative squeaker, axles through the middle of the foot with gold painted cast-iron four spoked wheels, circa 1900 —12½in. (32cm.) long (missing tail and nose stitching, some wear on back, slight hole to underside) - this toy from the very early 20th Century, the axle through the foot is a method used by Steiff on their first wheeled animals, but potentially this could have been copied by the rival company Strunz. There is a very similar toy shown on page 23 of Button in Ear, an illustration of the title page of the Steiff 1902/3 catalogue.

(36.5cm.) high (repairs to sides of feet pads) - when you hold the bear and walk him along, his weighted feet cause him to have a walking motion
A rare Merrythought Punkinhead teddy bear, with brown mohair, clear and black glass eyes, inset velvet muzzle and feet, inset long white mohair top knot, black stitched nose and smiling mouth, swivel head, jointed limbs, brown felt hand pads, golden mohair ear lining and chest, original yellow felt shorts and printed yellow label, 1958 —9½in. (24cm.) high (fading, damage to right foot, general wear and thinning)
A very rare Steiff dressed white rattle teddy bear circa 1912, with white mohair, black boot button eyes, upturned pronounced muzzle, brown stitched nose and mouth, swivel head, jointed limbs, hump, internal rattle, green felt tailcoat, small yellow top hat and FF button with white paper tag No.5310 —5½in. (14cm.) high (slight thinning, tag creased) - this bear was probably part of a wedding party, see page 219 of Button in Ear by Jurgen & Marianne Cieslik. These were made by fellow Steiff workers for their colleagues when they were married.

(19.5cm.) high (fairly worn, faded, metal work worn and aged) - this was only made between 1926-1929.
