Seriennummer 9223 ae .Nummerngleiches ZFK 98 mit kurzer Seitenmontage; codiert 42 (Mauser Werke Oberndorf a.N.) im Kaliber 8x57 mm IS aus dem Jahr 1938.ZFK im zeitgenössischem Originalzustand mit ca. 80 % originaler Brünierung.Wie viele Scharfschützengewehre wurde diese Waffe nach (vermutlich einsatzbedingter) Beschädigung bei den Brünner Waffenwerken (Code dot) instandgesetzt. Dabei mit Zielfernrohr Montage versehen. Dies ist erkenntlich sowohl an der Ausführung der Seriennummer am Lauf sowie weiteren Anbauteilen, dem Beschusszeichen am Gehäuse und Lauf und am Schaft, welcher den Code "dot" aufweist.Der Lauf trägt linksseitig die in kursiv gehaltene Seriennummer 9223 ae (diesen Seriennummer Typus finden wir nur an dot Waffen des Jahrs 1944) sowie dem typischen Beschusszeichen der Brünner Waffenwerke (dot) Adler HK.Das Gehäuse wurde beidseitig an den Seitenflächen so bearbeitet, dass die alten Beschuss- und Abnahmestempel der Mauser ? Werke entfernt wurden. So trägt das Gehäuse linksseitig den typischen Beschuss der Brünner Waffenwerke (dot) Adler HK und an der rechten Gehäuseseite die Abnahme stilisierter Adler über 63.Auf der Gehäuseoberseite befindet sich der Code 42 (Mauser) über der neu eingebrachten Abnahme der Brünner Waffenwerke stilisierter Adler über 63. Unter der Abnahme befindet sich die ehemalige Jahreszahl der Fertigung, welche von den Mauser Werken aus dem Jahre 1938 stammt.Die etwas beriebenen Anbauteile wie Oberring, Unterring und Magazinkasten sind in Blechprägeausführung und mit kompletter Seriennummer in kursiv (dot), versehen. Der Magazinkasten mit Sicherungsschrauben trägt neben den Abnahmen den Code byf der Mauserwerke. Der Schichtholzschaft mit breiter Schaftkappe und Stempelplatte in Blechprägeausführung ist an der Kolbenunterseite mit dem Code "dot" versehen sowie an der rechten Kolbenseite mit Adler HK. Die Seitengewehrhalterung ohne Abnahme und Kennung. Der Schlosshalterin der der späten Ausführung und ebenfalls ohne Seriennummer.Der Verschluss mit einer Schlagbolzenmutter in später Ausführung trägt die gleiche Seriennummer wie die Waffe, wobei alle Teile die volle Seriennummer tragen.Die Zielfernrohr Montage (deutsche kurze Seitenmontage) ist mittels drei Schrauben befestigt, welche gegen das Lösen mit Sicherungsschrauben versehen ist.Die Zielfernrohr Obermontage entspricht der späten Ausführung mit Arretierungsknebel zur weiteren Fixierung bei der Schussabgabe, und ist an der Unterseite mit den Zahlen 5 und 43 versehen. Seitlich ist die Obermontage mit der einstigen Waffennummer 75977 zu welcher das Zielfernrohr gehörte, versehen.Das Zielfernrohr 4 vom Typ Dialytan ist an der Oberseite nach dem Einblick mit dem Herstellercode "cad" (Kahles in Wien) versehen. Rechts am Tubus ist die Seriennummer 45208 des Zielfernrohrs eingebracht. Das Zielfernrohr weist eine Regenschutzverlängerung mit Ablaufbohrungen und die Arretierung für eine Sonnenblende (Artikblende) am Ausblick auf. Außerdem angeschraubte Rückstoßschiene zwischen den Ringen. An der Unterseite vor dem Ausblick finden wir die zusätzliche werksinterne Nr. "508 l". As with many sniper rifles this weapon was repaired after (combat) damage at Brünner Waffenwerke (code dot) and fitted with telescope mount for sniper rifles. This can be recognised by the serial number on the barrel and other attachments, the proof mark on the receiver and barrel and on the stock, which bears the code "dot".The barrel bears the serial number 9223 ae in italics on the left side (this type of serial number is only found on dot weapons from 1944) and the typical proof mark of the Brünner Waffenwerke (dot) Adler HK.The sides of the receiver have been machined to remove the old Mauser proof and acceptance marks. The case bears the typical proof mark of the Brünner Waffenwerke (dot) Adler HK (swastica eagle) on the left side and the acceptance mark of a stylised eagle above 63 on the right side of the case.On the top of the receiver is the code 42 (Mauser) above the newly added acceptance mark of the Brünner Waffenwerke stylised eagle over 63. Below the acceptance mark is the former year of manufacture, which dates from the Mauser works in 1938.The somewhat rubbed attachments such as the upper ring, lower ring and magazine box are stamped in sheet metal with the complete serial number in italics (dot). The magazine box with safety screws bears the Mauserwerke code byf next to the acceptance marks. The laminated wood stock with broad butt plate and stamp plate in sheet metal embossing is marked with the code "dot" on the underside of the butt and with the eagle HK (swastica eagle) on the right side of the butt. The sidearm mount without acceptance and markings. The bolt carrier in the late version and also without serial number.The bolt with a firing pin nut in late version bears the same serial number as the weapon, whereby all parts bear the full serial number.The scope mount (German short side mount) is attached with three screws, which are provided with locking screws to prevent loosening.The scope top mount corresponds to the late version with locking toggle for further fixation when firing, and is marked with the numbers 5 and 43 on the underside. The upper mount is labelled on the side with the former weapon number 75977 to which the scope belonged.The scope 4 of the Dialytan type is labelled with the manufacturer's code "cad" (Kahles in Vienna) on the upper side after the sight. The scope's serial number 45208 is inscribed on the right side of the tube. The scope has a rain protection extension with drainage holes and the locking mechanism for a sun visor (articulated visor) on the sight. A recoil rail is also screwed on between the rings. Hahn in dezent gehaltener Optik. Dazu mit kantiger Batterie und geschwungen beziehungsweise geschweiften Enden.Die Gegenschlossplatte sichert mit zwei Schrauben die Schossplatte. Direkt hinter der Gegenschlossplatte ist die Skalierung aus Messing, mit Pendel zur Entfernungseinstellung. Der kurze achtkantige Lauf geht in eine runde Form über. Sie besitzt mündungsseitig einen becherartigen Abschluss zum Verschießen von Granaten. Der Becher ist mit einem Messingkorn an der Oberseite und einer Riemenöse an der Unterseite versehen.Der massive Nussbaumschaft ist um die Schwanzschraube und die Schlossplatten schwungvoll erhaben ausgeführt. Die eiserne Kolbenplatte mit langer Nase an der Kolbenoberseite hat eine geschwungene, spitz zulaufende Form. Am Schaftende im Bereich des Überganges zum Granatbecher befindet sich ein massiver Metallabschluss. Dieser besitzt eine rechteckige Öffnung an der Unterseite für den hervorstehenden Rückschlaghaken.Die Metallteile in hervorragendem Zustand. Top of receiver is marked with stylized eagle, Waffenamt "135", Mod. 98 and "svw MB". Left side of receiver is marked with proof marks "eagle with swastika" and serial number "20742b." The right side features acceptance stamp with two stylized Waffenamt "135", proof marks "eagle with swastika" and a variety of other markings. Bolt and metal parts retain approximately 96% of the original factory phosphate finish. Late style trigger guard/magazine features stamped construction and is marked with maker code "svw" and a variety of proof marks. Stamped magazine cover is marked with "byf" and acceptance stamp. The stock is the late crude "Kriegsmodell" ( war type) version with removed bayonet lug, without cleaning rod and stamped butt plate. Right side of butt features large acceptance stamp. W.K. mit passendem nicht zur Waffe nrgl. ZF der Firma Emil Busch Rathenow. S.Nr. 3702 o.Sehr gut erhaltenes, nummerngleiches Scharfschützengewehr Mod. 98 des kaiserlichen Heeres mit über 90% originaler Brünierung. Lediglich leichter Abrieb an den Ringen. Seitengewehrhalterung, Gehäuse, Verschluss und Visierskalierung sind blank gehalten. Schlösschen und Sicherungsflügel am Verschluss an der Oberseite mit kleinen unwesentlichen, unauffälligen Narben.Der Kammerstengel wurde vom Büchsenmachermeister entsprechend der Vorschriften gebogen. Die ist bestätigt durch ein eingebrachtes Zeichen des Büchsenmachers an der rückwärtigen Seite des Kammerstengelansatzes. Der Lauf ist blank, etwas rau und weist zwischen Visier und Gehäuse an der Oberseite ein ?S? für Patrone mit Spitzgeschoss. An der linken Seite Seriennummer 3702 mit darunter angebrachtem "o".Das Gehäuse linksseitigmit dem bayrischen Löwen mit Zepter als militärische Abnahme, darunter versetzt die Seriennummer 3702 mit Buchstabe ?o? und "Gew. 98". Seriennummer mit Abnahmen auf allen Teile entsprechend der Stempelvorschrift.Der Nußbaumschaft ist so gut wie neuwertig erhalten. Er trägt neben der Seriennummer und diversen Abnahmen entsprechend der Stempelvorschrift an der rechten Kolbenseite, den Brandstempel der EWB (Einwohnerwehr Bayern).Die Waffe besitzt bereits eine Stempelplatte mit Demontagebohrung, was auf eine Fertigung ab 1916 schließen läßt.Bayrische dreifüßige Einhack - Zielfernrohr - Montage mit Druckknopfarretierung. Die Pistolen haben im ersten Drittel einen konischen, beidseitig abgeflachten Lauf. Danach geht er in ein rundes Profil über, dessen Mündung sich verbreitert. Auf der Schlossplatte ist die Herstellerbezeichnung "Rousset a'Turin" eingraviert. Manufacturers frequently made display materials available to retailers to help encourage increased sales of the companies product. This Boye Needle Company product display not only displayed sewing machine needles, shuttles and bobbins in an attractive dispenser, but also included a chart to help determine the appropriate size accessory needed for different makes of sewing machines. The display retains many of the original cork containers with different size needles, shuttles and bobbins stored within them. Fully working and in excellent condition with only minor wear - see images.
Breitling Original Display by Kevin T Kelly "Dear John" C2010. A rare Breitling original freestanding retail display created by Kevin T Kelly, Cincinnati. The image is entitled "Dear John" c2010. The front side of the display is on leather canvas with Breitling in brushed aluminium lettering. The reverse is a print of the front and on the bottom of the frame is etched "Property of Breitling". The frame is constructed from aluminium and stand on two feet. The frame measures 45cm, 51cm by 3cm. Note that although they don't detract there are signs of wear and these can be seen in the images. Breitling has been a collector of Kevin T. Kellys work since 1993 and has over 30 of his paintings in their corporate collection. Thirteen original paintings are on display in the Breitling Flagship Store in midtown Manhattan. Digital versions are on view in virtually every Breitling Boutique worldwide.

A Colt "wells Fargo" model 1849 pocket revolver with .31 Cal. 3" barrel marked "Address Sam'l Colt New York City" all matching numbers 111858, one of only approx.. 4000 made. In overall excellent condition with high percentage of original finish remaining and very good percentage of silver plating to back strap and trigger guard. The scene on the cylinder is also very crisp. Overall a very good example of a rare pistol, reputedly from the Denny Levett collection California U.S.A.

dating: 1875 circa provenance: Swiss, Round, rifled, 10 mm cal. barrel (clean bore, visible rifling), with octagonal breech with marks 'S', 'V', 'W' under Helvetic cross and '26', adjustable rear sight. Working sliding-revolving bolt, frame with mark 'SOC. IND. SUISSE SYST. VETTERLI' and matching serial number '26'. Butt and fore-end (same serial number) made of dark wood, the latter with checkered segment. Iron mounts. Trigger guard with finger support. Iron ramrod. Very rare. Together with spare parts. Refreshed browning. length 113.5 cm.
dating: about 1620 provenance: Brescia, Long, smoothbore, two-stage, 14 mm cal. barrel, first octagonal, after round with a ring at the girdle; smooth tang. External wheel lock with flat lock plate, sliding pan cover. Wooden, full stock (some minor restorations) with partially engraved iron mounts. Smooth trigger guard. Trigger carved with baluster. Carved iron-tipped ramrod (original). Rare in this length. length 66 cm.
dating: 1814 provenance: France, Smoothbore, round, cal. 17.5 mm barrel square at the base marked 'Garde du Corps du Roi', marked 'B', year '1814' and with another mark at the base, remains of gilding; lock signed 'Maubeuge Manuf. R.le 'and marked 'JB' under crown, brass pan. Wooden full stock with brass mounts, the butt plate decorated with three crowned lilies within oak and laurel branches. The front of the trigger guard with lily. Screws with carved decorations. Iron ramrod. Very rare. length 36.5 cm.
