•TRISTAN TZARA (1896-1963) 'Excursions & Visites Dada 1ère visite: Église Saint Julien le Pauvre' Jeudi 14 Avril a 3 h, (Paris, 1921), original printed broadside, with text printed in black and blue, 27.5cm x 22cm (unframed) This rare Dada publicity broadside features the names of the Dada group at the foot: Buffet, Aragon, Arp, Breton, Eluard, Fraenkel, Hussar, Peret, Picabia, Ribemont-Dessaignes, Rigaut, Soupault and Tzara. The typography was designed by Tristan Tzara. This was the first and only public gathering of the Paris Dadaists. The text, attributed to Andre Breton, invites the reader on a visit to the church of St Julien le Pauvre, being one of "a series of visits to selected spots, particularly those which really have no reason for existing... "   Condition Report: some light tonal discolouration, otherwise in very good condition

Roi Paris Eight Day Gilt Brass Carriage Clock A wonderful and rare example circa 1830's/40's The eight-day two train movement with two-plane 'chaffcutter' escapement and three-arm monometallic balance set between the plates and striking the hours on a bell mounted to the backplate. Featuring a rectangular engine-turned silvered brass dial with Roman numerals and radial design to centre and 'watered-silk' infill. The gilt brass caddy moulded case with hinged, slender baton handle above upward sliding front glass for winding. Signed Paul Garnier to dial and to back plate, 6 3/4 inches high, 4 1/2 inches wide, 4 inches deep. Please see accompanying image

WWII Interest A Rare German SS Officers Sword With Scabbard And Original SS Portepee And Felt Sword Case. Officers sword in wonderful condition comprising ebony grip wrapped with single strand wire, forming 13 bands; The grip fitted with circular silver Runic disc to centre. Hilt underside bears the SS Rune acceptance stamp in chamfered octagon; the pommel being the special SS style which screws into the hilt of the sword and not the blade tang. Blade in polished steel is unmarked/without maker and is in very good condition, the white leather blade buffer pad is still intact, the scabbard is in good condition and retains 99% of the black paint finish, the lower scabbard mount is decorated with the standard line pattern, the upper mount is in the traditional Wotan's Knot pattern, the sword is complete with the correct and original SS officers silver brocade and silver-wire portepee with woven black runic insignia to top knot. Along with original fawn wool felt sword case with woven cotton rope drawstring. Overall size: 99cm, blade size, 83cm. Please see accompanying image
