# A RARE DATED CHINESE SIX COLOUR BEIJING GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE, 19TH CENTURY Carved in shallow relief in red, green, blue, yellow, black and pink with a warrior holding a flag, standing beside his horse and looking up to a floating deity, the reverse with a figure praying beside an incense burner beneath plantain and the crescent moon, the shoulders each with an inscription, one which reads shi jia shen ji chun (in the third month of Jia Shen year, probably for 1824), the other reading zhen shang zhai fang gu (an imitation of the archaic style by Zhenshang Hall), all reserved on a milk-white ground, 8cm. A RARE CHINESE IMPERIAL YELLOW GROUND ‘CRANES’ BOWL, SIX CHARACTER YONGZHENG MARK AND OF THE PERIOD 1723-35 Finely potted with deep rounded sides rising from a short straight foot, incised and enamelled around the exterior with eight cranes in flight amidst green enamelled cloud scrolls above rockwork and breaking waves which encircle the base, the interior with a lustrous yellow glaze, 15cm. AN EXCEPTIONALLY RARE CHINESE IMPERIAL DOUCAI JAR AND COVER, GUAN, SIX CHARACTER YONGZHENG MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD 1723-35 The ovoid body gently tapering at the foot, delicately painted in underglaze blue with two scaly yinglong (winged dragons) in flight amongst scrolling clouds, a band of scalloped lappets to the shoulder and foot embellished with doucai enamels, the circular flattened cover with a single yinglong within concentric bands, the base with a paper label for Bluett & Sons, London, 11cm across, 10.4cm high.
