GWR Mahogany Cased Triple Slot Instrument. A wonderful item in exceptional condition and extremely rare indeed. Very few signalboxes would have been graced with such an instrument and GWRA have only ever seen one other example.

LNER 3 aspect Handlamp. A rare pattern being very small in size and bearing the oval brass makers plate 'A.W. Sanderson & Co 1931 Birmingham'. Embossed one side with 'LNE' and the original owner has attached a brass plate to the reducing cone 'W.SHOOTER'. Most unusual front lens arrangement whereby the curved lens is at the bottom of the cowl and although appearing to be circular, is in fact a curved square. Totally unrestored.

GWR Brass cased Drum clock possibly originally issued to the Bury Port and Gwyndreath railway. The enamel dial bears the earlier suppliers name of Skarrat & Cie Paris, the brass drum case also bears one of the early GWR numbers for these clocks 2033, which is hand, engraved. Upon closer inspection the rear cover shows the station name of Cwm Ma (Cwmawr) and penciled inside is Ponthenry and the closure date of 21/9/53, a rare survivor in good clean and working condition.

Totem, BR(NE) HALIFAX TOWN, H/F. Ex LYR station between Huddersfield and Bradford. A rare totem having been replaced in the early 1950's by the much more common HALIFAX. In virtually mint condition, this is by far the best to appear on the market.

Traveling Post Office Postal Covers, a complete set in an album together with a hardback book 'The British Traveling Post Office' by Peter Johnson. The set comprises 32 first day covers bearing Cuneos Famous Trains stamps individually cancelled with the date stamp of all 32 TPOs in existence at that time, on 22nd January 1985. These date stamps were unique to each TPO and only used for letters actually posted into the carriage at the station (or at a few 'late posting' boxes on major stations) With the recent demise of the TPO, this is a rare opportunity to own a significant piece of British transport history

Avar rug Daghestan north east Caucasus late 19th century 6ft.1in. x 4ft.5in. 1.86m. x 1.35m. Overall wear dark black-brown heavily corroded throughout heavier wear with slight damage and losses left side and lower end. These rugs rarely appeared on the Western market before the end of the Soviet Era and piled examples such as this remain fairly rare.

*Etrich 'Taube'. A rare, possibly unique, early 20th century brass and copper model of an Etrich 'Taube' of the Imperial German Airforce, mounted on an Egyptian-architectural-style polished slate cased mantle clock, the two-blade propeller arranged to be driven from the clock mechanism by shafts and pulley, the two-seat aircraft with wire braced wings, tail and undercarriage with wing warping control wires, dummy engine side radiators and wheels with copper tyres, the white enamelled watch-type clock dial set in a copper plate with moulded Etrich logo above a horizontal plate (possibly previously engraved), wingspan of aircraft 19.75 ins, length 14.5 in, overall height 11 in The Taube (Dove) first flew in 1910 and was designed by the Austrian engineer Igo Etrich. A highly successful machine, pleasant to fly, the Taube went into production at the Rumpler works near Berlin, over 500 were built by this and other manufacturers. (1)
