BELLEW', bead fore-sight, gold poincon inlet at breech (illegible) together with gold bands, moulded bosses for each individual nipple (nipples replaced), engraved top-tang, border and scroll engraved back-action locks with engraved double headed hammers, the lower heads of each articulated to swing clear sideways via a spring catch, walnut half-stock chequered at the wrist (non-structural shake in butt to right hand side), inlet engraved iron patchbox to right side of butt, iron furniture including raised lower tang and brass-tipped under-barrel ramrod.

A rare bottle of Bass & Co Prince's Ale, the label dated July 23rd 1929; together with a newspaper clipping relating to the fact that Prince's Ale was brewed by Bass to commemorated a special visit to their Burton-On-Trent brewery by Edward Prince of Wales (later Edward VIII) on July 23rd 1929. The Prince pulled a lever to start the mashing process to launch the special brew.
