Franklin Kline, plates and illustrations, in colour and black and white, cracking to gutter in a few places, original cloth, spine and corners rubbed, g.e., 4to, Osaka, Japan, 1914.⁂ Rare first edition, first issue of 1914 of the series that grew to be the 'Official Guide for Shippers and Travellers to the Principal Ports of the World'. This first issue featured only Asian ports, and the foreword lists those regions covered; Japan, Korea, Manchuria, Formosa, China, The Philippines, Straits Settlements and Ceylon. The guide includes photographic illustrations, period advertisements, as well as features on commercially orientated travel and transport facilities. The Osaka Shosen Kaisha, also known as the Osaka Mercantile Steamship Company Limited.

A rare 19th century pearlware shaped dish printed with the Arctic Scenery Series pattern. In blue depicting an Inuit family on a shoreline with an igloo and ships in the background, length 16.5cm. A similar dish can be found in The Dictionary of Blue and White Printed Pottery 1780-1880 pg 18.
A Chinese late 17th Century Kangxi period (1661-1722) jar, the globular jar with wide slightly everted rim, decorated in underglazed blue with two opposing panels filled with tree flanked mountainous landscapes, below a series of eight auspicious Buddhistic emblems, height 16cm, diameter 19cm, double circular lines to the underside of base and old paper labels, lacking cover. NB - Please see Christiaan JA.Jorg, Chinese Ceramics In The Collection Of The Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam. p109 for a similar example. It is a rare shape for the Kangxi Period. Originally they would have had simple bronze or silver mounts and may have been used as censers. Filled holes on either side of the neck further confirms that originally this jar is very likely to have had mounts and a cover. Provenance - This item has been owned by the current family for over 100 years and thence by descent.

A copy of the rare 7" Gene Norman & Rocking Rockets - Snaggle Tooth Ann / Night Train released on Snag Records in 1959. The condition of the record is in strong, glossy VG+ condition with a few small scuffs and faint hairlines to the playing surfaces. The centre label looks sharp with faint residue of where a sticker has been removed.

With super sharp, crisp and bright labels.
BUDDY SHAW - DON'T SWEEP THAT DIRT ON ME 7" (STARDAY RECORDS 45-642 - ORIGINAL US COPY). Wicked rare 1957 Rockabilly cut from Buddy Shaw with Don't Sweep That Dirt On Me c/w Second Place. The record (45-642, original US copy) is in solid VG condition showing lightly faded playing surfaces, though this not heavy at all. Elsewhere with clean playing surfaces showing only a couple of very light and minor surface marks. Lovely sharp and clean labels.
