[KING JAMES FOLIO BIBLE] - THE HOLY BIBLE containing the Old Testament and The New. Newly Translated out of the originall Tongues: and with the former Translations diligently compared and revised, by His Majesties speciall commandment. Appointed to be read in Churches. London, printed by Robert Barker, printer to the Kings most Excellent Majestie: and by the assignes of John Bill, 1640. Folio, title within elaborate woodcut border, separate title to the New Testament dated 1639, printed in double columns in black letter, woodcut headings, tail-pieces and capitals, collation complete and as per the British Library copy, bound in 17th century reversed blind-panelled calf. The black letter text here is generally crisp and clean - there is some water-staining to the top of the final gatherings, corners dog-eared etc, but importantly this is a complete and unrestored copy of "the last of the folio editions in large black-letter printed between 1611 and 1640" (Darlow & Moule), and a rare survival. A superb publication from the Bernard Newdigate / Basil Blackwell era of the Shakespeare Head Press; FACSIMILE OF THE ORIGINAL MANUSCRIPT OF THE BOOK OF COMMON PRAYER signed by Convocation December 20th 1661, and attached to the Act of Uniformity 1662. London, Eyre & Spottiswoode, 1891. Folio, the original manuscript reproduced in litho facsimile, printed in red and black throughout, top edge uncut, publisher's embossed cloth with wear to head and tail of spine. This copy comes with the rare loose 4-page 'Advance Circular' prospectus, describing the book, and stating "The issue will be limited to 750 copies", as well as a manuscript letter dated Nov 1 1898 with the Eyre and Spottiswoode printed and engraved letterhead, also concerning the book; Plus another folio book in German, circa 1902, with 15 superb full-page facsimile woodcuts after Albrecht Durer. The tickets for the gig were printed on the back of a "NOISE" flyer (designed by Jon Maunder) with an example of the front and back of a complete ticket on display at https://www.joydiv.org/scrapbook.htm. This is the right hand side of the ticket that would have been torn off on entry. The stub is ink stamped with "F.T.H." and the date payment was made (3 June 1976) - it also has the gig and price paid handwritten - in this case "Sex Pistols 50p. On the reverse of this ticket is the letter "N".

BEATLES SIGNED HANDBAG. Incredibly unique piece of memorabilia in the form of a handbag signed on the inside by both John Lennon and Paul McCartney. The vendor was a huge fan and followed them everywhere - she can be seen on the front row of the Cavern in the far right of the picture. The signatures dates from late 1962 with Paul signing in blue pen "To Rosa love Paul McCartney" and John signing "Love John Lennon". We have never seen a signed handbag before so don't miss this rare opportunity to pick this one up! The lot includes a COA from Frank Caiazzo.
