The first 3 issues were produced by Bart Boumans and his students at the Enschede Art Academy (NL) in 1982, featuring contributions from international mail artists and students. Thereafter Care was produced by individual artists, various proposals circulated but it is not certain what actually appeared. This lot contains the initial issues 1,2 and 3. By pointing at one of the 16 numbers of the wheel of fortune shown on the frontispiece, a question (in total 71) and an answer to it, can be found in the booklet. Some of the questions: (2) "Of gij zult winnen in uw koopmanschap ofte niet?". (9) "Of de vrijer eer zal sterven, of de vrijster?". (16) "Of de vrijer de vrijster bemind, of de vrijster de vrijer?". This is one of the 30 signed copies, signed in pen in lower right corner. In mint state.Lemonspot can be considered as integral part of Brouwn's work similar to productions like the footstep imprints of pedestrians from the same period, the early 60s.
