RARE DINKY MAYFAIR 123 GIFT SET: An original vintage Dinky No.123 Mayfair Gift Set - containing No.142 Jaguar Mk.X - in pale metallic blue, No.150 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith - cream, light metallic green, No.186 Mercedes Benz 220 SE - pale blue, No.194 Bentley - in metallic gold, No.198 Rolls Royce - two tone grey, No.199 Austin Mini Countryman - pale blue. Four figures (3 male and 1 female). Condition is excellent / near mint / mint. NOTE: When first sold at auction approx 10 years ago, THIS set was sold as the 'best condition Dinky 123 set in the world' and fetched a record price for this set at auction, amassing over £5000 inclusive of commission. The set remained unopened from that purchase, carefully stored and sealed in wrapping until brought into us. Condition is generally excellent. The only issue of note is that some of the figures have detached from the card insert and have marked the surface of the cardboard. Other than that, this set still remains one of the best condition complete DINKY MAYFAIR 123 sets in the world. Rare.

RARE 1920's MARKLIN GAUGE 2 LOCOMOTIVE: A fantastic pre-war (c1920's) likely Marklin Gauge 2 ' Lord Nelson ' Southern 850 railway trainset locomotive. Originally would have been spirit fired live steam, but later converted to Gauge 1 (45mm) clockwork. Complete with tender. The well detailed metal train retaining some original steam parts - pistons to the front and some original piping. No specific makers mark - but small impressed ' M ' to underside and Patent number also stamped (although this is stamped to the later clockwork mechanism). Original diamond cross makers mark to front of tender. Appears to have been fairly well converted to clockwork with machined slide bars and connecting rods. Locomotive 45cm long. Retains most of its original green livery. CONDITION REPORT; Due to the nature of the item and the conversion, all buyers are reminded for the need to satisfy themselves as to condition and authenticity of the lot prior to bidding. There is general surface rust to the model, and small denting to the top. A pair of wheels are missing from the tender, and there are bits loose / missing. This would have been one of the best model trains in its day, and although converted to clockwork, was done with some skill involved. It would not take much to get this into usable, presentable condition.

RARE SCHUCO ELEKTRO RADIANT 5600 AEROPLANE: A fabulous ORIGINAL Schuco Elektro Radiant 5600 German made aeroplane model, mostly tinplate with plastic engines and propellers, clear plastic canopy showing cock-pit, within the original box. Battery operated, appears in good general condition, with clean battery contacts, although is untested.

Retains unopened factory sealed wrapping to exterior. All artwork bright and crisp. Still has the small ' Corgi Juniors' paper label to the front of the cellophane wrapping.

HUKI DGRM LUGGAGE PORTER TINPLATE: A rare Huki HKN DGRM tinplate toy of a luggage porter trolley - marked ' HKN ' to top and stamped ' DRGM ' to side. Fabulously litho printed-tin with labels to the case for Astoria, Savoy etc. Would've once had a clockwork mechanism to base, but suits perfectly fine as a wheeled model.

MR TURNIP / WHIRLIGIG: A fabulous rare collection of 1950's (1953) Ariel Productions ' Mr Turnip ' annual / comic strip printers glass plates. x10 in total, of two varying sizes (the larger sized ones being 41cm x 51cm). Within the original printers wooden / card album with label to front. Some pieces annotated with text, most appearing to be from the story 'Mr Turnip Goes Shopping'. Most are black and white, some with colour over lay (red for example). Each in original condition, none cracked or broken.
