1966 Renault Gordini Dauphine Make: Renault Model: Gordini Dauphine Year: 1966Mileage: 38856VIN: 22398Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: ONK914DTransmission: manualThe Gordini was the 'performance' version of Renault's chic and distinctive Dauphine. Named after Italian racing driver and sports car manufacturer Amédée Gordini, among its upgrades were a four-speed transmission and an engine tuned to 37bhp by Gordini. Four-wheel disc brakes appeared in 1964. This 1966 example has been owned by the vendor for 25 years. He reports that an extensive restoration was finished two years ago, but the car then had little use due to the pandemic. During the work, the colour was changed from red to its current vibrant green, with the interior remaining its original red and grey. Many NOS (new old stock) panels and parts were fitted during the renovation. Along with the standard Gordini upgrades, this car features a lightweight radiator, electric cooling fan, electric screen washers, manual choke conversion, alternator and chrome internal door handles. The car will come with two sets of keys, original jack and starting handle, and a rare period Gordini cigarette lighter. Current mileage is recorded as 38,856. The documentation folder contains the owner's handbook and service manual.
2005 Renault Megane Sport 225 6,577 miles from newMake: Renault Model: Megane Sport Year: 2005Mileage: 6577VIN: VF1CM0M0633205586Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: HK05YHWTransmission: manualAlthough this example of Renault’s very hot hatch of the mid-Noughties is 16 years old, it’s covered a mere 6577 miles in all that time. The rare pre-facelift model is finished in Steel Grey; only 173 of the three-door Sport 225 models were produced for the UK in this shade. Retained by Renault from new, after three months, it passed into the hands of a private owner, but its use was sparing – despite the undoubted appeal of its 2.0-litre turbocharged engine tuned to produce 225bhp, with a 0-60mph of 6.3 seconds and a top speed of 147mph. While its owner worked overseas, it was carefully stored until recently. Freshly MoT’d (with the certificate expiring in July 2022), the only flaws to this car, described as with a 'stunning, unmarked' interior, 'very good, original underside', 'lovely' engine bay and 'superb' driving experience by the vendor, are some storage marks on the body, including some scratches on the bonnet. It is, otherwise, unmodified and untouched, even down to the original tyres, and dealer number plates and tax disc holder still in place. The history folder includes the original and current V5, HPI certificate and unused spare key. There's also all the original booklets in their Renault-branded binder, such as the additional Megane Sport information supplement, security information, radio manual, owner's handbook, unstamped service book and other miscellaneous documentation supplied when the car was new. The vendor advises that the engine has previously been rebuilt and the automatic gearbox has been fully serviced. 21,000 recorded miles PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 11TH AUGUST BY ACA OF THIS CAR.
2002 Jaguar S-Type 4.2 V8 R Auto 13,620 miles from newMake: JaguarModel: S-Type RYear: 2002Mileage: 13620VIN: SAJAC03S321M52189Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: V8DBHTransmission: automatic This V8 supercharged saloon comes with many factory options and with the added benefit of just 13,620 miles from new, is a rare find indeed. Finished in metallic Pacific blue with two-tone SVR Windsor perforated leather interior which is totally unmarked and birds eye maple grey veneer interior trim. Its factory options include sat nav, parking sensors, electric seats, heated front seats and much more. Following an eight year period in storage, along with other cars, due to the registered owner's overseas work, the car has recently been subject to recommissioning costing just over £2,000, this included various new bushes and drop links. Described by the vendor as being in excellent condition, with all electrics working perfectly and a great car to drive. Comes complete with original and current V5w, original handbooks, S-Type wallet, MoTs and recent service receipt. Two registered owners from new. 1974 Fiat 128 1300 Coupe SLMake: Fiat Model: 128Year: 1974Mileage: 60542VIN: 180243Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: GDV614NTransmission: manualBased on the boxy Fiat 128 saloon but with more stylish, fastback styling, the 128 Coupe Sport offered sporty performance in a diminutive but practical package. Survivors are rare these days, with this one believed to be the only right-hand drive 1300 SL in the UK. In oh-so-Seventies Positano Yellow, with black interior and 74bhp 1290cc engine, this Fiat has had five registered keepers. The fourth acquired the car in 1989, but after some engine problems, it was garaged in 1992 and didn't re-emerge until 2009. After an engine rebuild, it was treated to a full body restoration, which was completed in April 2011, with the owner at the time stating that 'it was restored with a view to originality while keeping some of the patina'. A full account of what was done is in the history file, along with a selection of photos. Also in the history folder are the V5, owner's handbook, brochures, magazines, spare keys, show memorabilia and an extensive amount of invoices dating back to 2010, chronicling thousands spent over the past decade or so. There are also two copies of the useful but now unintentionally funny Fiat book of Safe Motoring Hints, with such pearls as not being insulted if a car 'of a class inferior to your own' passes you and how 'use of the horn and lights is not an insurance policy against accidents'. Along with a set of spare keys, there are also a 'loads of spare parts to go with the car'. The exterior of the 128 Coupe is in excellent condition, while the interior has been left more untouched. Nevertheless, aside from a small bit of dash damage in one corner, it's also in very good order. The car runs and drives very well, with a nice rorty note from the exhaust to remind you that you're in something Italian and a bit racy. 1965 Ford Cortina 1.2 2dr Saloon MKIMake: FordModel: Cortina Year: 1965Mileage: 40500VIN: 38671Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: EOF61CTransmission: manualThis 1965 Cortina 1.2 was intended to be a Lotus recreation, but work stalled on it, according to the vendor. However, it does run and drive, but will obviously require further restoration. It is described as 'looking structurally sound after many hours welding, including new outer sills and repairs to the floor, all to a very good standard. It needs bodywork to finish, some panels are included'. These include the rear panel and lower rear wing repair panel. Among the other parts included are new brake discs and pads, rare front quarter bumpers, a rear bumper and a box of other used items. The paperwork folder includes the old V5 and the current one, plus a photocopy of a repair manual. The odometer records the mileage as 40,500 and there has been one previous keeper. 1985 Jaguar XJ-SC 3.6 M/ODMake: Jaguar Model: XJS-CYear: 1985Mileage: 96844VIN: SAJJNCC7CC125144Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: C982TGMTransmission: manualWhen the Jaguar XJ-S was launched in 1975, there was no convertible version because it was believed, erroneously, that open-top cars were going to be outlawed by American safety legislation. When it became clear that there still was a future for al fresco motoring in the marque's biggest marketplace, Jaguar introduced the XJ-SC during 1983. This wasn't a full convertible, but rather a Targa-roofed variant with a removable soft-top at the rear. It lasted until 1988 when it was replaced by a full convertible model. Thus, the XJ-SC is quite a rare XJ-S variant now. This Claret six-cylinder example, with 3590cc AJ6 engine and manual gearbox, has had nine previous keepers, and is MoT'd until July 2022. The V5 is present in the history file, which also comes with a large stack of service and maintenance bills stretching back to the late 1980s, MoTs dating back to 1988 - thus confirming the recorded mileage of 96,844 - and a 2006 copy of Jaguar Enthusiast magazine. The original Jaguar document folder is also included, containing the electrical data chart, list of dealerships, Jaguar guarantee, owner's handbooks, service booklet stamped up to 86,492 miles in 2002 and even a customer care questionnaire for the supplying Julians of Reading dealership. There are spare keys as well. Overall condition of this XJ-SC is very good, albeit with a few marks on the nearside rear wheel arch. Both the cabin wood and beige leather are holding up well, and the hood is in good order. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 20TH AUGUST BY ACA OF THIS CAR.
