A rare and important piece of British Sitcom history - the only known surviving original prop ' Fallen Madonna With The Big Boobies ' from BBC Sitcom 'Allo 'Allo (1982-1992). This 'painting' is actually a textured print - as per ALL 'Fallen Madonnas' made for the series. This exact Fallen Madonna is presumed to be that shown in the final episode ' A Winkle In Time ' and thus the ' 1985 ' mentioned in the plaque actually being a crew in-joke to the scene set in the 'present' (final scene of the final episode) when Rene & Helga reunite the Madonna with her 'missing booby' .The Madonna measures: Total size: 58cm x 48cm (Picture Size: 44cm x 34cm)An incredibly important and unique opportunity to obtain an iconic piece of BBC Television history.Provenance: Originally sold at a fundraising auction in 2007, the prop was gifted to production designer Shaun Moore when the series ended, and hung upon his wall until his decision to auction it for charity. Many Madonnas were made for production use, and each getting destroyed in various ways throughout the show - with this being the only one to ever survive all 9 series of the sitcom. After production ended, The Madonna was framed using a production frame by the crew, and presented to Moore as a souvenir.
